I'm a male and was hesitant about going to spa for a vacation but needed a place to unwind, relax and recharge. Rio Caliente is perfect for what I needed.

The setting in the Primavera forest preserve is great. The staff at Rio Caliente are exceptionally well trained, courteous and efficient and everything is done in a quiet unobtrusive manner.

You can do whatever you wish – go on guided hikes in the surrounding nature preserve, join the yoga class, swim in the mineral pools, get an all over tan in the private plunge pool and sundeck, have world-class massages and other treatments, work out in the outdoor gym, get a Bioresonance checkup, or just lie by the poolside and read. Each person creates their own experience to suit their needs.

The food is unbelievably good, high quality with lots of variety and plentiful for those of us with larger appetites.
