Ensenada Ensure you get Mexican car insurance in the USA before entering into Mexico with a rental car. The drive from San Diego to Ensenad is super easy and requires no ability to speak Spanish. Have fun!!

Papas and Beer is a rip off! We ordered top shelf margaritas at Papas and Beer. The first round was great. The second round tasted different and very weak so we ordered an extra shot of tequila. Total bill for the 4 margaritas was $60 (USD cash only)! I'll never go back...

Don't bribe the police in Mexico. May of us Americans have seen too many movies. We get pulled over in Mexico and we panic. Well don't panic, and don't bribe the police in Mexico. If you get pulled over for speeding or a traffic violation then tell the officer that you would like to go to the station and pay your fine right now. In many cases it is very small....$15 - $40 fine. Some Americans panic and start dropping hundred dollar bills on the officers. This just encourages them to pull over more Americans. LOL. But seriously whatever you do don't drink and drive in Mexico (or anywhere for that matter), because in addition to being very dangerous you can get in a lot of trouble. If you are caught drinking and driving....then break out the wallet...it is time to issue a bribe. (No I am not joking.)
