We live in Mexico city and my husband wanted to surprise me by a nice we in las mañanitas that we found in "relais et chateaux" guide book, which we had use before to our total satisfaction. I think i have to share our deception for those who might want to do the same. This hotel has nothing to do in a relais et chateaux guide book!! Service was terrible, they came to check openly with my husband if he was aware the wine he choose was P2,500, who knows? I may not be able to pay for it (we were staying in a 3,500P room!!) I had pubics hair in my bath tub and I had to set the plastic mastress on my own in the terasse! And the served bimbo bread with a P300 plate of cheese.. really a terrible experience! Wouldn't recomend it to my worst enemy!

The last time I ate at Las Mañanitas was 15 years ago and it was a wonderful experience. I was there again two days ago and I was quite frankly appalled at the terrible service and even worse quality. I would have received better serve and quality at a corner taco stand.
The beautiful gardens are as always fantastic. If you go to Las Mañanitas have a cocktail and move on!

Spa Experience Mision del Sol, about 20 minutes from downtown Cuernavaca, is simply exquisite and has a magnificant spa. The services are reasonable and the staff is extremely professional.
Luxury Bus Service to Airport the 125 peso, 1 1/2 to 2 hour Pullman of Morelos service to/ from Mexico City's airport is in very new Volvo buses with lots of leg room, a beverage and a movie is wonderfully comfortable and convenient. Buy your return ticket ahead of time !!!!
