Breath Taking!!!!

This resort is beautiful, clean, and the staff and service is top of the line!! 5 star all the way. The only thing to improve upon was the red house wine, and the rum selection. We will be returning next year and hope we can pick our room ahead!!!! Thanks for making our family vacation A memoriable one. Ages 17-49

Slip and fall

On the third day of my vacation, I slipped and feel on the wet stamped concrete sidewalk. I broke my foot, although at the time I did not know it was broken. The resort staff offered no medical attention (due to my old age of 54). They refused to drive me (in their shuttle) to the hospital. The only assistance they offered was the use of a wheelchair. I spoke with the General Manager of this property and he offered nothing. I spoke with another guest who had slipped on the marble floor and broke her arm. Her experience was similar to mine. Great place as long as you maintain your health! For the record, I was sober when I fell . . . 7:00 AM on my way to coffee.

Going down hill...

This place has gone down hill since March of 2006. No fruit garnishes in the drinks, no fun bar tenders, very cold pool, same food day after day after day... No fresh sea food on the buffet. All of this was so much better when we were there before. This time we had so so service, the one day we forgot to leave a tip for room service we didn't get a towel animal or chocolates as we did every other day. The bed bugs were so bad we could see them in the sheets and all 4 of us came home covered in little nat bites(No not sand flees! we had them too)All in all it looks like the Iberostar in Cozumel is cutting corners and the little thinhs they are cutting out are what made us fall in love the first time we satyed, I think we'll check out another resort on our next trip to Cozumel!

Gorgeous place & great service

For the price we paid we deffo got everything we expected and more - the staff are lovely, the food excellent and the rooms are very accommodating and kept v clean. There’s 2 restaurants plus the buffet choice, definitely go for the steak house we didn’t really rate the Mexican but it’s down to personal preference!! There’s also plenty to do whiles there - we enjoyed horse back riding, atvs (quad bikes) swimming with the dolphins, scuba diving (padi) and snorkeling. Oh and I mustn’t forget the pool and more importantly pool bar are Fab!

Top Local Tips for Cozumel

Jeep Tour Take the jeep tour it was great. Also spend the money at Chakanaab and swim with the dolphins full package.

The beach For those of you that read reviews that say not to come to this resort because the beach is rocky, disregard them. Really, with everything else this resort has to offer, running into the water is very low on the hype scale. You can still swim, snorkel from the beach. You will be pleased with this resort and know that it was $ well spent. The reason we went back a second time is because we were treating our family to a vacation, and I knew that I would get the $ value from this resort....and we did.

Watch what you eat and drink Do not eat at the sea side resturants no matter how tempting and good....it will come back to haunt you!! and be sure to drink alot of water!!!!!! Believe me going home with heat exhaustion, deydration and a probably bacteria was not fun since it started on the plane. Follow the recommended precautions ahd you will have no problems at the resort.
