    Be Careful
Well, the dining room waitstaff was second to none. Thats about where the good comments end. We took 40 high school seniors here in April 2007 for Spring break and they behaved good under the circumstances. This hotel took our reservations a year early but at about the 5 month mark called our travel agent concerned about the amount of kids coming even though we had plenty of chaperones. security watched us like hawks. The food was tough to eat after the 3rd day and most went to town to eat. So much for the all inclusive. They had only 1 kind of beer and it was draft. Bottom shelf liquor unless you ask for something else, even though they proudly display all the good liquors.(watch them reach under the bar when mixing the drinks). Whoops, need more space to include everything. Lock items in safes in rooms. We had guests who had things missing from rooms. When trying to dispute charges upon check out, were told "we already charged it to your card" and then, "if you don't like it we can ... Read more

If your looking for great food, drinks, & nightly entertainment this is not the place to stay
The first room (215)we had for four of us was very small and tucked in the corner overlooking the tiled roof. My daughter got a huge room (305)for two people overlooking the ocean. They did exchange our room for a spacious room (308) overlooking the ocean, we were very pleased. We found the staff not to be very pleasant, when we got there no one gave us info about the property, only people that wanted to sell you tours and visit other timeshare hotels. We ended up going into town a lot for authenic Mexican food and good drinks, which was 12.00 round trip every time we went to town. The food at the hotel was more Americanized than authenic Mexican and the drinks were made with cheap mixes and liquor. The property was beautiful, nothing to complain about. If they had better food, drinks, and entertainment at night to keep you there I would go back. A concierge would also be great to have to guide you through the experience. I hate to complain about a vacation because it was a great time... Read more

    You can do better
This was our fifth trip to Cozumel and the third resort that we stayed at and it was by far the worst of them all. The new part of the facilities that we stayed in are fairly nice; however, the repair and maintenance is severely lacking. The TV was spotty at best and only worked about half of the time. We called the front desk to get it fixed but never saw anyone and had trouble to whole time we were there. The phone quit working on the third day and never did get fixed. We figure they turned it off so we would stop asking them to fix the TV. The beds were very hard and very uncomfortable. The cleaning service was adequate but nothing over the top. The pools themselves are very nice but the grounds are paved with red tile that is very slippery when wet and too hot to walk on barefoot. My son almost fell numerouse times and I almost fell twice myself. There is some white trim tile that I had to teach my son to walk on anytime he got out of the pool so that he wouldn't bu... Wonderful Resort
We were there in June 2005. The food was always fresh and plentiful. The resort itself was beautiful. The staff were exceptional...always cleaning, wait on you hand and foot, very friendly. Lots to do. There were six of us ranging in age from 18-50. Everyone had plenty to do. Would definitely stay there again.

    Great vacation
We had a wonderful time. Clean big rooms,(there were 22 of us, ages one to 53)Beautiful blue and aqua water. Something for everyone. Food was ok, liked the buffet better than the sit down formal restruant. Staff was great, bartenders spoke great english as did the desk staff. Cozumal is great because you don't have to be afraid to go into town, which is also a fun place.
