Rooms were gorgeous - the shower was to die for (they had hot water)! Nice view onto the main square. We were there at festival time and got to see all the activities downtown, although the bell tolling went on literally all night long depriving us of sleep. Everything about the hotel was gorgeous. Didn't try the food, it was cheaper across the square. The pool up top is tiny and wasn't kept up very well, but was good for a cool down. When we checked in we were given fresh juice and a cool, wet towellette. Desk clerks spoke excellent English and were very helpful with directions, getting taxis, etc. We plan to stay there again this Oct.2007.

Plaza & Basilica Concert The Centro Plaza is very charming & the concert on the Basilica's church bells by two artists at 6:00 PM was very special.

Churros to die for! Okay! Right around dusk in the little ally right on the side of the hotel, you will notice a line forming in front of a little tiny closet sized entrance. It's the churro lady and my God, they are amazing! Hot and crispy and filled with your choice of chocolate, strawberry or carmel, they will literally melt in your mouth and you'll keep going back for more! Don't miss it!
