This hotel is perfect for those who have an interview at the Consulate. They provide free transportation to and from the consulate starting at 5am. The restaurant near the lobby has great and authentic food prepared when you order it. The only recommendation I would make is to take your own blankets, because it gets kind of cold at night. Expect to stay again in Feb of 2009.

We stayed in Maripina and we're really satisfied with all the extras they offer. Great employees, they make you feel like home. We felt very safe and everything was close bye so we could walk everywhere.Housekeeping staff is excellent, we totally trusted them, nothing was missing. I was so happy with our stay.

Great service and facilities for the price, convenient to just call 2 days in advance of arrival and reservations are secured with no need of a credit card or else, just your word. The area has gotten safer than already was, food at the restaurant is great and the bar too. Stayed 5 days in '04 and plan to stay in my next holiday trip to Juarez in '06. Shuttle service to and from the consulate is a plus for those going to take care of immigration affairs.
felicidades por el buen servicio to all employees at the Maripina. Its no wonder they call it "the best little hotel in all Mexico"

I had to go again to the consulate in Juarez and so I decided to stay again with the wonderful people at the Maripina. I had called in advance for a room and when I got there is was all ready and there was no wait. The lady ( Ms. Sara) in the office was wonderful and had all of my information already ready to go. We just had to sign in and get the key. We stayed again in the back part of the hotel and it is wonderfully quiet. The price for the 2 night stay was very reasonable and again the food was great. We felt very secure there and did not have to worry about the car out front of the office. This time we used the shuttle service, that is free with room fees, to and from the consulate and it was great. We got there on time and the driver was much better than the taxi drivers. All we had to do was call after the consulate meeting and they were right there to pick us up. No pressure from the taxi's or vendors on the consulate street. I would love to go to Juarez on just a pleasure trip and stay there again.

I stayed at the Maripina over a weekend waiting for my FBI results in January. I liked that the receptionist called to let me know that there was a really good boxing match on Saturday night in the bar that is joined to the restraunt. The staff is really friendly and the food is great. The room is clean and safe. I felt at ease there.

We stayed at the Maripina Hotel in January of 2006. We were in the back part of the hotel ( thru the gates and across the ally) At first I was a bit leary of the area, but there is not anything to be afraid of there. The rooms are nice and clean. There is a restraunt in the front by the street that is really good food and really reasonable priced. I liked it and I plan on staying there again in April of 2006 when we return to Juarez for the 2nd interview with the consulate. It is a bit of a walk to the consulate from the hotel, but it is worth it in the savings. We had also stayed a few nights in the Holiday Inn and I was far better impressed by the Maripina. The price and the food were much better and the rooms were compariable. thank you
