Fun time and alot of good laughs!

My friend, I cannot recommend this place enough! It was our 2nd time back and there will definitely be more. When we arrived, the hotel was overbooked so for one night we had to stay at the sister resort, but we did receive 3 free nights stay for another time and that was well worth the minor inconvenience. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly! The food and drinks were fine and we had a clean, spacious room. Chinos and the activity staff kept you entertained throughout the day and night. If you are not comfortable with the games you can always just watch and get a good laugh. It's true what they say "no one knows you and no one cares!" and if you don't want to watch, the quiet pool is always an option. If you want a relaxing and fun time and alot of good laughs then this is definitely the place for you!

I've been to BBG twice before and loved it both times so this time we decided to get married there - I don't recommend it!

Considering it was our special time, we were treated like dirt! The room we were first allocated overlooked the roof of the Nice Shoes Bar (hmm, we were promised an ocean view room) and the "fruit basket" was a plate consisting of a banana, an apple, a pear and a not very orange orange! The only positive thing was the sparkling wine (very much appreciated after an 11 hour flight).

We eventually switched rooms (which took two days to sort!) and no-one bothered to check if we were happy with the new room. The maid service was slack (totally unlike previous two visits). Our friends who travelled with us had better maid service and had fancy towel displays each day.

Whilst the ceremony was fantastic and we have some great photos to show for it, the Wedding Co-ordinator wasn't really up to much. She was hard to get hold of, didn't understand the concept of time and on the day expected me to meet her in the hotel lobby five minutes before the ceremony - she didn't even bother to come and see if I needed a hand getting ready! Even the nurse assigned to carry out the blood tests was 1½ hours late.

I would recommend going to BBG - the food is faultless and the staff are hard-working and friendly (Herbert and Oliver are great) but DON'T GET MARRIED THERE. You'll only be disappointed when you're not treated like a princess on your special day.

Over all i thought this holiday was excellent, it had everthing u wanted food and drinks the staff were all excellent and friendly allways there to see if u needed any help, it was the best holiday ever, TRY IT!

Top Local Tips for Cancun

Take the bus ... The bus are only $1 and will take you quickly and directly were you want to go, any night club or shopping ...

Public trnsportaion Public transportation very good on the buses and very cheap too

Isla Mujeres This was a revelation for us. Pace is much quieter than Cancun. Rent scooters for the day and you can see the entire island. Had lunch at an out of the way beachside restaurant at a very reasonable price. $3 for the slow ferry (1 hour) right beside Temptations, $17 return for the fast ferry (20 min.) about 500 yards up the beach the other way.
