Top Local Tips for Cancun

Swim with Dolphins and shopping Book this as soon as you can with the rep. Go to Isla Mojares and swim with the dolphins what a wonderful experience. Take a golf buggy trip around the island. Get a bus from the hotel to Isla Dorada where you can shop till you drop and eat in some fantastic restaurants. "Juice de Lime" A great fish and Mexican. This is great you sit above a pool where there are dolphins and a huge window of sharks. I had Prawns and My husband had red snapper. There is an aquarium in Isla Dorada and I think each restaurant has a window which is part of the aquarium. "Thai" is another lovely restaurant if you like Thai food. It felt just like being in Thailand. If you are a real shopaholic and money no object go to another shopping mall called "Luxury avenue" it is an eye opener. The Jungle trip by speed boat was fab but remember to take a towel because if the sea is a bit choppy you will get wet in the boat. I snorkelled for the first time ever and loved it.

The buses at Cancun are awesome The R1 is perfect for anyone (even families with kids). The frequency is around once every three or four minutes.
