The food was pretty good in general, but we both ended up with the trots, if you liked toast they had ONE which was broke for half of our holiday along with the espresso machine, and it was a case of tomorrow, tomorrow it will be repaired feel the Mexicans still have a lot to learn as regards to customer relations, accommodation was nice, along with the beach as long as you don't mind the bugs

It was the best vacation i ever had!! The people are so nice.. animators incredible... partying everynight! Good food!. Everything! I would definitly go back soon.

This is possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The smell hit you as soon as you walked in. Our room was dirty and noisy. Since getting back I have had to wash all our clothes, even if we hadn't worn, them as the smell got in everything. We only stayed two nights, that was more than long enough.
Oasis cancun = heaven

Just got back and had to tell all about it........ springbreakers all stoned and high as a kite. I was wearing bra and panties and swear i was the most dressed!!!!! Get crunked up all day, every damn day, why not? Dont come to this hotel if you not up for a night! Food was okay.......... but eat out, i did, hee-hee

I went end of June in 2004, was awesome dudes and dudettes, chicks, clubs, alcohol, smokes, u name it and it had it. U bringing your family, dont do it. I was here to get lucky, mission accomplished, went with 6 people, and all are plan to go back in APR 2005, word! Ladies be ready for parties all nite.

My husband & I were to stay here for 9 nights (Jan. 26th- Feb. 4th)& at check in we were informed that our travel agent had moved us the prior week to the Oasis Beach. After the manager rudely informed me that he did not have to show any proof of this so called move, he paid for a cab to take us to the "Super 8" Oasis Beach about 6 miles away. Evidently, the Oasis hotel chain purchased the old Calinda Beach about 3-4 months ago, cut the staff in 1/2 & has since made it the practice of Oasis Cancun to overbook & then send whomever they choose down to the not as nice Beach. We met others that this happened to & we realized that the management is smart enough to do it to vacationers that don't have easy access to their travel agents. Apple, etc. have reps on site, so they don't mess with those that have booked through them. PLEASE think twice before choosing the Oasis chain.

Just came back from having the time of my life. The hotel was fairly nice and the food was not bad. I agree it is not a 5 star however if you are planning on coming to have a Party this is definately the place to be. Staff was very helpfull and the beach and pools were great. The entertainment staff was awesome in keeping everyone awake and aware that they were in paradise. BEST TIME EVER.

The Oasis Cancun offered more than I had expected. It's located on the nicest part of the beach in Cancun, the staff are over-accomodating, there is a wide variety of excellent food, there is always a good selection of music being played. The entertainment staff know how to party and get the atmospeher going. Oasis Cancun is an amazing never ending party.

This is not a hotel for people who want to stay at a 5 star resort. This is a party hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the beach is awesome, the pool and pool bars are wonderful. The food is ok, the staff is nice. Treat them well and they will do the same. Tip these people, they make dollars a day. It goes far, trust me and they really appericate it. The rooms are nice. GO with an open mind and remember that every year during dpring break this hotel is full of collage kids who party 24/7. This is not a 5 star hotel. If you want to party and have a great time, stay here.

Excellent hotel, staff and food. Perks include being able to book a 'special' dinner reservation at one of the exclusive restaurants and nightly live entertainment. They do allow spring breakers, but from what we saw, all of them were either very well behaved or closely supervised by the attentive staff. We do not have one complaint about this hotel. In fact, we are returning to it this March!

Top Local Tips for Cancun
Market 28--a no go! Stay away from Market 28--the largest outdoor flea market. A little questionable with safety and somewhat difficult to find and then return home to your hotel.
The Bus is Easy and Cheap The bus is only like 66 cents one way and goes everywhere. Everything is in a straight line. I think it runs 24/7 too. So save yourself money on a shuttle and just take the bus to your hotel.
Spring break March is the month for spring breakers. I have been there... done that... so not interested in seeing it again. Many from my hotel were moved from other Oasis hotels to get away from the kids. They were very glad to do so as sounds like it was just too much at other resorts. If you think as I do go to an adults club like this and you will get away from the kids and have adults to party with. We went to Senior Frogs but it was the same so many spring breakers. One night out that everyone liked was the shows at Coco Bongo. Never went but all the people who went liked it. Almost like a small Vegas act I was told by several.
