Before I travelled to cancun I read a lot of reviews about the Moon Palace and was very concerned by the negative ones I came across. I have to say that our stay at the Moon Palace was by far the best vacation i have ever experienced! The staff were all extremely friendly and keen to help in anyway they could, our room was great, the pool was clean and the entertainment staff were hilarious! My only regret about my stay at Moon Palace is that I only stayed for a week! I will definitely be returning in the near future! If you are planning a trip there, please disregard those negative reviews and you will have an amazing experience also.

A. The hotel offers you coupons to the Spa, Golf Course, and gift shop if you agree to go to the time share presentation. HOWEVER....you do not HAVE to attend this, you do NOT HAVE to buy into these packages. My advice to you is, DO NOT go to the presentation if you do not want to hear a sales pitch. It's that easy!!! But if you want to earn your Coupons you have to go..it's that simple! B. The food is not Gourmet....it is above average buffet/fixed menu fair. There are numerous places that are excellent such as the beach front grill which was offering prime cuts of Filet Mignon, NY Strip, and Porter house steaks to order! Personally, I think that is fairly impressive for an all inclusive. And although the food is not GOURMET, it is very fresh and tasty!! And there is a ton of it!!:) SO if you are going to enjoy a week of eating ALOT this is the place for you! You can eat at 2 different restaraunts a day and NEVER eat st the same place twice! C. This has got to be the best holiday ever. The staff were the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Our rep was great, VERY helpful. We stayed in the Nizuc side and we were very glad as the food was nicer and the pool area was much quieter. The rooms were great also. Would definitely go again.....soon!

Moon Palace Sunrise - Cancun

We stayed at this resort a few years ago. It was the best experience we ever had. This time, however, we were very disappointed. The resort is showing signs of wear and tear - patching job around the shower didn't look professional. They suckered us into listening to their "sales pitch". We did receive $100 Palace money that we used at their gift shop - but it stole almost 5 hours of our time away. We will never do that again....They told us no pressure, but by the end of the speech, they were being absolutely beligerant to us...we had to actually demand that we receive what was promised to us at the beginning. It was like Jeckyl and Hyde. That was our 2nd day there - the rest of the vacation went well. Please take my advice - go there and have a great time eating their food and drinking their booze - don't give them any of your hard earned money for purchasing vacation weeks - you can find great deals to stay there on the internet despite what they tell you.

Wonderful service and staff!

My wife and I celebrated out 4th anniversary here and had a great time. We were treated well and our room was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the pools and the outdoor shows. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly and hard working. This is definitely a place to come to for complete pampering and relaxation. All inclusive is the best way to go!:)
