Moon Palace Sunrise - Cancun
We stayed at this resort a few years ago. It was the best experience we ever had. This time, however, we were very disappointed. The resort is showing signs of wear and tear - patching job around the shower didn't look professional. They suckered us into listening to their "sales pitch". We did receive $100 Palace money that we used at their gift shop - but it stole almost 5 hours of our time away. We will never do that again....They told us no pressure, but by the end of the speech, they were being absolutely beligerant to us...we had to actually demand that we receive what was promised to us at the beginning. It was like Jeckyl and Hyde. That was our 2nd day there - the rest of the vacation went well. Please take my advice - go there and have a great time eating their food and drinking their booze - don't give them any of your hard earned money for purchasing vacation weeks - you can find great deals to stay there on the internet despite what they tell you.

Wonderful service and staff!
My wife and I celebrated out 4th anniversary here and had a great time. We were treated well and our room was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the pools and the outdoor shows. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly and hard working. This is definitely a place to come to for complete pampering and relaxation. All inclusive is the best way to go!:)

Disappointed, but still had a good time
Our first impression was disappointing. The drive into the resort, the entrance, and the main lobby, were to me, nothing special. I expected alot more from a 4 star resort. We arrived early (about 11:oo... check-in was 3:00)to hugh crowds everywhere! We were given wrist bands and told we could begin partaking of all the food and drinks we wanted. Because this was our first experience with the "All inclusive thing" or this resort, and because we didn't yet have a room, we felt a little lost in this crowded, and massive new place. We were told we could leave our lugguge in the lobby (along with several other peoples lugguge) to go eat or go to the pool. We were uncomfortable leaving our lugguge, (we didn't see anyone watching it) but we weren't willing to wheel it around with us either. We reluctantly left the lugguge to go see the highly anticipated "Cancun Beach". The sand was a beautiful white powder and the water was clear but no one was in the water and only a few were on th...Read more

Poor sailboats & food
The buildings are nice and the help was overall very friendly. However, this was offset by less than good food on too many occasions in the buffets, desserts and restaurants in general. The bartenders had very little consistency when you ordered a drink in different places. There were also basically no sailboats available to use as they were nearly all broken and had no plans to repair them soon unfortunately.
