Great Services but Lousy Facilities
If you have a good understanding of what ALL INCLUSIVE means, this does not apply here. Most of the services are extra. The list of activities such as tennis, table tennis, beach volley ball, non mechnaical water sports were non-existent. Just a fiction of the imagination in the brouchure. Ask your travel agent to be HONEST, what is available and what are NOT. If they have no idea, most likely not there. Hotel is great, but cater to "A LA CARTE" type of services. If you are an "AI" customer, be prepared to be a second class customer. Our Transat Agent was mostly un-empowered. Answers were no or checking with the Hotel, and on the day we left, she was still waiting for a "response" from the Hotel. (Yup, I believe that!) Bring a security alarm that hangs on the door handle, because you will need that. The locking system does not allow you to lock your room with a deadbolt. Amazing Vacation in Melia Turquesa!
This is such a great place. My wife and had read a few reports that had worried us - comments on the food, etc. but we had the holiday of our lives. My wife is Peruvian and I'm English, and we loved it. The place is spotless, and there are always people cleaning! The food was great for us - lots of variety, and the burgers on the grill were amazing. There were always enough sun loungers, and always lots of space on the beach for it to seem like it was your own private beach. The sand and sea were just amazing too, like a postcard. I'll try and add a pic from our balcony so you can all see!

Great Hotel
The hotel and staff was absolutely wonderful. Everyone at Melia genuinely cared about making our stay pleasurable. The food, drinks and service was FANTASTIC.
My wife and I go on vacations without the kids every two years. We have stayed at several nice places but the Melia Turquesa was head and shoulders above anywhere we have stayed before. The food is fantastic, the drinks pour, the rooms are nice. The best part is that the employees want you to have a great stay. The front desk, maids, bartenders, cleaning crew, cooks, (I'm sure I forgot someone) everybody was great.
I would stay there again.
This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff was friendly. The food was wonderful. THE DRINKS WERE TASTY AND INTOXICATING! A good hotel for families and people who are just lookinf to have a good time. Go all-inclusive!
