Top Local Tips for Cancun

Weather Go during the winter months. It was 80-85 F in feb. and it was already starting to get humid! I think it would be unbearable there during the summer months!

Limo Rip-off We personally arranged transportation from the airport through the hotel, asking for a Lincoln Towncar for which we were willing to pay $80. But when we arrived, there was no pick-up scheduled. (We believe it was the hotel's error, but can't be sure.) The company (Tropical Incentives) quickly arranged for an alternative, but it was a huge van, with a high step. I had broken ankle, and it was nearly impossible to get into the van. And it cost $50 (plus a $10 tip). We susequently found that we could have taken a taxi for $25.

bus is easy local bus is really easy. If you don't have exact change, it's ok, the bus drvier will give you change.
