Just had two weeks here overall everything ok, staff & service very good. Food only average esp if ya like lemon cake for your dessert everynight. Bar tenders Eusabio & Miguel game for a laugh never an empty glass, yeh give it a go but don't expect the Hilton as said you get what ya pay for

This hotel is literally falling to bits. Pieces of concrete were falling of the walls and roof. I had to complain about the state of the rooms and moved 4 times. Faulty aircon, leaking showers, the smell of damp and mold, cockroaches running around. Staff are rude, espescially the front desk are unhelpful. Food is rehashed everyday. Cancun is lovely. Do not stay here, upgrade to another hotel.

We thought that this hotel was brilliant. We thought that all the staff were really nice and friendly. I was with a child of 13 and he was the only boy in our party, but the entertainment staff made him feel really welcome. The bar and resturant staff are really nice too would do anythink for you while you are there. The rooms are very basic, but clean. Fresh bedding everyday. Food was simple, but nice, if you never liked the food the chef would cook you some thing a little more English (burger). The beach had lovely white sand. There is a small pool and a a bigger one. The small is good for people chilling out and the bigger pool was for more those who like to swim alot. The reception people was great, would do anything for you no matter what time you rang down at. I would recommened this hotel to anybody as it was great and we would personally go back there again. There are better hotels in Cancun than this, but to be honest they are all really expensive and posh. We had no problems there and all the people that we spoke to had know problems either. I would go here again and recommend you do.

We stayed here 23 September 07. The cleaning staff were lovely and kept the room clean. It is the only good thing about this hotel. The reception staff kept waking us up early by talking and laughing. The bar and restaurant staff were friendly. I think that the management should go and see what food the other hotels dish up as the food for 2weeks was very poor. It was always the same, always cakes. The place could do with refurbishing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. With all the poor ratings they should do some thinking on how to improve this property. Thank-you.

We loved it!
The hotel wasn't anything like i'd imagine the Hilton or the Ritz might be, but it was clean, safe and all the staff where very nice!
considering you probably pay the majority of your money towards 'Air Fair' then this hotel is well worth the money.
As far as i'm concerned people who grumble about this hotel are the type of people who just grumble all year round about silly little things.
So if you are infact one of these moaners, then don't go, it's as simple as that!

I am just back from this hotel and I do not know how people can honestly moan about this hotel, with this hotel you get what you pay for. We paid a very cheap price for two weeks and we really did enjoy our stay, as a group of 6 our rooms were separated and we were all on different floors, not one person had any problems with their room. Yes, the rooms are very basic but again you get what you pay for. The beach did have seaweed on it but it was cleaned regularly, as for the rubbish, people shud bin their cups instead of leaving it!!!!! The staff were really nice and helped us in every way we could. The bar was great as well, you never have an empty glass. The only problem we had was that the bar shut at 11pm!!! We will definitely be back to this hotel.

stayed here had a room on ground floor, after two days the girl on reception tried to get us to move to another room, I told her to get lost. The food although plentiful didn't appeal to me. each morning you knew what the theme for that evenings meal would be, as they draped the countries flag in the dining room, i.e. Indian, Italy, china, stuff like that, and if you don't like that sort of food, then you make do with salad or burger and chips or hot dogs, like I had too. Breakfast selection was cold meats and cheese. Eggs either boiled, fried, or a fresh omelette made while u waited, cereal. Fruit juice, and bread or toast. The pool was ok, clean, and if you're on all inclusive as we were you get your drinks at the poolside bar served in plastic cups. The distance to downtown Cancun is a hell of a walk, you really need to get the bus outside of hotel, which was cheap. As far as I'm concerned Cancun can rot, as ill never go back, the place is a rip off to tourists. oh and whilst I'm at it don't book any trips to Isla Mujere with the rep walk down to the harbour area and you can book it for a fraction of what the reps want. And you get the same trip. I wouldn't say the hotel was a 1 star, but it's definitely not a 4 and it scrapes in at a 3 for me. Food big let down. But the a la carte restaurant upstairs u can visit once a week at no charge on all inclusive was nice.

We almost always stay in 3 star hotels when we travel but this place was the worst. Mold, cockroaches, ripped bedding, electrical tape holding the wiring together, no lamp shade on our lamp etc. plus a very limited variety of food made this stay very uncomfortable. The beach was covered with stinky seaweed and you had to get up at 6 to claim a lounge chair.
The front desk staff were not at all friendly and barely any of the staff smiled. We had a wonderful maid and the bar tender was really friendly. The drinks were great and the pool was clean but small.
If you don't mind staying in the worst hotel in Cancun then this is the place.
Quick check out. Glad to get out!

Paid £1819 each. Not 4 star standard, not 200 meters from the nightlife as advertised in first choice website, try 2 hours walk or 20 mins in a taxi. We found the rooms damp and in desperate need of upgrading. We were glad to leave to another hotel but had to show new arrivals our pictures of the 5 rooms we were offered in an attempt to get someone to take notice. They were waiting to check in and as I was being brushed aside by first choice I decided to share my room pictures to all the new guests before they checked in."RESULT" we were moved to a proper 4 star! If you think this hotel is awful take as many photos or video and report.
Do you really want to stay here?

I guess if you are a spring breaker you don't mind the average food, dirty beach and icky bathrooms, but as a mature couple looking for some stress relief we made a mistake in choosing this hotel. The first room they assigned us (a 3rd floor walk-up) REEKED of mold. After a 3rd try we wound up in a nicer, ground level room. The decor is dated, the grounds unkept, and the internet photos are not a true picture of what the place looks like. Perhaps some of you will be very comfortable here, but if you're looking for a truly relaxing place to stay, I'd look elsewhere.
