The Best
Me and my girl friend have been to this hotel 7 times and we love it. We have had the best times in Cancun at this hotel. We met a lot of good people and the staff have become good friends(most of the staff we know work at the sister hotel now) I would recommend this hotel. You will have fun if that's what you came for. No hotel is perfect. It does have some things that I don't like or would complain, but it does not stop me from staying here. Come see for yourself.

Great service, great place, great experience
We was really worried about going to this hotel as we had read the reviews. We're so glad that we did as we had the time of our life and would most certainly go back again. When we arrived, we were in the old building on the top floor, 7th. As soon as we opened the door my husband said I'm not staying in here. I didn't even unpack anything. Being really tired, we decided to go to bed early also my sister-in-law and husband had the room next door and they felt the same about their room. Anyway, had a good sleep. Next morning open the patio doors to see them apartments and the ocean ,what a different opinion I had then. It was so pretty and we decided to stay in that room. It was cleaned everyday. Everything about this place was fab, the food you could not fault. It was A1. The service, the surroundings, the bus service just outside hotel. Never waited longer than a minute. I will say though that the sea is very very choppy. It's impossible to go in with children! The pools are lovely. Y...Read more

All Inclusive Having A Laugh!!!
From the moment we arrived, we realised that all inclusive this is not! As far as getting a drink is concerned, you either need to wait for an hour or so till the 2 barmen behind the 1 bar in the hotel decide they may serve you! We ended up buying our own drinks on an all inclusive break!! Food is fab, but waiting staff not happy to get you a drink unless you tip! Rooms very basic for a luxury holiday with worn out and dated furniture. Walls paper thin so you can hear everything going on in the next room! Fabulous variety of food, which I cannot fault, and always able to get a table
The usual early morning rise to get a sunbed! Long long wait at reception of at least 20 mins, on arrival after your 10 hour flight! Fab clean grounds. Fabulous beachside location with the most stunning turquoise seas. Lots of activities for the kids and close to lots of shopping centres and bars and an aqua park nearby. Would have been a really good holiday other than the lack of alcohol and soft drinks, ...Read more

A wonderful vacation
It was incredible, the hotel, the architecture, inside and out, we just had the most luxurious junior suite with a hot tub. The view was magnificent and the food was beautiful, fresh, everything from sushi to Italian. Even at 4am there was burgers and salad avaliabe.
The staff were better than great and all that takes is a US dollar or two as a tip, show your appreciation for there fantastic service and genuine hospitality.
My fiancee and I had the most wonderful time there and they off local services for things like 4wheeling,scuba,jet skiing, and other tours.
We used all local buisness for all our ventures, everything from swimming with the dolphins to seeing local ruins and all was professional and a fantastic experience.
The junior suite with the hot tub on the 8th floor is for me, a vacation I am doing again.

Not the greatest
First night we were put in a room similar to something you would see in Tijuana, Mexico. We were in building 1. Dirty with cockroaches, and very outdated. No bed sheets, cracks in the floors and walls. The walls and doors were so thin you can hear someone sniffle, cough, and other stuff we didn't want to hear from the hallway, and the room next to us. We complained to the manager. We sent thousands of dollars to have a nice, clean, room etc. etc. He told us that this was an upgraded family suite and there was nothing else available. We decided we would deal with it being we had no choice, and figure we would be spending most of our time away from the room. Day two We realized after both myself, and my young son slipped and fell in the bathroom that there was a leak coming from the floor underneath the bathtub. After he realized that it was not a safe place to put a family suddenly a room became available in building 2. We checked it out, it was the difference between day and night. The...Read more
