Best holiday ever

Having read a number of mixed reviews, I was very dubious about going here and was unsure what to expect - nothing could have prepared me !!! My husband and I travelled with our three children aged 13, 9 and 6 and we are booking our holiday there again, the kids cried leaving. Every single person who works there is not only very friendly but go out of their way to help you. The food was delicious with a wide variety for a fussy 6 yr old, the pool bar staff Roger and Alex always had our drink ready and the entertainment staff Dario, Belen, Zuey, Murtagh and the rest truly made our holiday unforgettable. The "craic was great". Yes, there is seaweed but it is lifted every morning, yes there are seagulls but if you leave your plate back they wont eat of it, and yes it is a bit out from downtown but dario etc organize nights into the clubs in town. We loved this place and its staff and we really can't wait to go back. To anyone who is going before me, I am jealous...

The Hotel was clean, friendly atmosphere, great choice of food and drinks (alcoholic & non alcoholic), staff were great, entertainment = fantastic and our room/apartment was perfect (a little on the large size for a couple but nothing to complain about!) met some great people and this definately was a holiday never to be forgotten. The night life is amazing and my fav club was 'The City' although 'Coco Bongo' is a must if your visiting Cancun :-) I am going to find it extremely hard for any UK Club to compete with 'The City' Miss you Dario, Charlie and all the other reps/staff who I cannot spell the names! :-b

Where to begin. My partner and I have stayed at the BBC, 3 out of the last 4 years we could not get a booking in 2005 and did not experience the hurricane. We were a little concerned as to what to expect when we arrived in June last year but all our fears were dispelled when we arrived.Although the pool had changed there was no visual sign of any damage. I have read several of the reviews and in the most agree with them. However there are several reviews which I can only assume were placed by competitors. Views as (room service was poor)(Food was substandard) just do not gel with what I have experienced I have found all the staff to be excellent are very concerned about the welfare of the guests. OK its not a 5 star hotel but as far as a I am concerned this is the only place to holiday the food is good and varied the entertianment covers all age groups the staff from cleaners, bar staff, to porters are the most freindly you will find anywhere. I have noticed that most of the negative comments appear to come from our friends in the USA mybe their veiw of value for money is different from ours. We are going again in May thid year and look foreward to seeing all our freinds again.

The Best Holiday Ever

Just got back from the blue bay club,
This was the best holiday we have ever had.
Every thing was A1 the staff are more like friends than staff when we left we knew them all by name. Yes there is seaweed and the sea is not always crystal clear but so what, itÂ’s a bit
Off the main drag but I think this was better.
You can always use there bus to the blue bay getaway on the main hotel zone, but you will still need to use the local buses because the strip is about12 miles long. We are going back next year.

I Love Blue Bay Club!

This resort was the most fun, I could not imagine my stay at the Blue Bay Club any better. The hotel was clean, entertaining, and fun. Charlie, Chris and all the staff made my stay the best it could ever be!
Thanks for an amazing vacation

The hole holiday is absoultly amazing. The food is lovly, i am usually a picky person but i liked almsot everything there was never nothing i couldnt eat, the shows are brilliant and so are the staff, i felt so welcome there is always something to do and you can never be bored if you are a clubbig person i would suggest going to senor frogs and dadios it is the best hotel i have ever stayed in and will fefinatly be going back next year x

Blue Bay Club, Cancun is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are so friendly, everything is so clean, even the beach they remove the seaweed each day!! The surrounding area leaves a lot to be desired, if you go anywhere go on the Getaway bus or in a taxi (although the taxi drivers are mad! hold on tight!!)

The entertainment team are all brilliant, especially Dario, Marco and Charlie, they really made us feel welcome and kept us entertained all day long. Coco Bongos is a must for everybody going to Cancun and swimming with dolphins is amazing. Will definitely be back here someday.

This was defintely one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The staff were excellent and would always go out of their way to help you.( Dario was very funny to watch) I did however end up having 3 hotel rooms as I wanted a sea view which they moved me to however the bathroom didn't smell very nice. The management however were very nice and moved us to a lovely room overlooking the sea.
The hotel is in a nice location and this holiday has something for everyone no matter what age you are.
If you go make sure you go to a nighclub called Basic, the dance floor moves and they have artifical rain in the club, so be prepared to get wet!
Made several visits to the Getaway as they have 3 nice restaurants which you need to book prior to going.
Overall had a fantastic time and will be going back in a couple of years.

This was the best holiday I have ever been on and we go abroad every year I will definitely be cumming back here. The entertainment people made my holiday... Dario, Marco, Jacob, Fernando, and the 3 girls!! And the others are great thanks allot n we will be cumming back next year!! Because I miss Dario n Marco lots!! They made my holiday thank you!!

Top Local Tips for Cancun

a little goes a long way. The bbc is all inc. so it says tips are included, but we normally give tips. You don't feel pressured to tip like at some places. We tipped the bartenders and we never had to wait in line for a drink, even when there was a line they would just bring our usual over. They work very hard and get paid very little, so if they treat you good show them you appreciate it.

defenitly rent a car If you rent a car you can even drive to other cities and see outside of cancun. And driving in cancun is alot of fun especially with those circle islands everywhere. (but also use caution)

Xhel Ha Make sure you go to Xhel Ha it is the most beautiful place on this planet. The Fish area amazing and you mgiht even get lucky and see a turtle. Its a great palce for children, they have a childrens area witht heir own playground, litle swimming pool and the most unique animals. Watch out for the igaunas as they have the right of way. If possible go to Xhel Ha for an entire day skip the Tulum tour and go straight to Xhel ha it is well worth it. Also get the all inclusive package when you go as their breakfast is the best on this side of Mexico.
