Best beach for family vacation

We just spent a week in Cancun at the Ambiance and everything went perfect. It is an older hotel and we are usually a little snooty about this, but the service at the hotel was fantastic, the beach was the best on the hotel zone, and the breakfast was great. We have 3 children and they loved the gentle waves that came in to the all white sand beach. The resort really has about the best beach are in cancun, and we walked up and down the strip most of the way. Also, we came during spring break, but we were not in the middle of partying college kids as the hotel is a bit off to one side and it was mostly all adults and families. I would not get the all inclusive, I do recommend you get the breakfast though.

I was there 3 days ago I went with 3 friends for 12 days from 10 April until 23 April. The hotel was very nice with the best beach in all Cancun the sea was very calm the water was perfect the people of the hotel very kind the rooms very clean the breakfast was very nice with a lot o f choices to eat the hotel from the centre of Cancun is 500 metres only ,the food was cheap 100pesos each person the cocktails 30 pesos each en general all the prices are cheap only the clubs are expensive coco bongo 420 pessos free bar I suggest u if u want to see nice people and enjoy it to go to Playa del Carmen for 3 days itÂ’s amazing the place. The best beaches outside Cancun was in the Tulum 1 our outside Cancun Caribbean amazing there and for sure Xcaret was nice with all the animals of all over the world dolphins the weather is nice but sometimes is cloudy but very hot.

Paradise!!!!!

First time in Cancun with our 80+ year old parents. Got home yesterday. Our highest praise goes to the Ambiance, the "Kin Ha" we experienced, the food, the staff, the room and service. We made friends from all over the world, and will do what we have to do to spend at least a month at Ambiance next year. Best beach in the area. We miss the staff--Manuel, Enrique, Juan Carlos, Carlos, Angel, Mario (leaving), Joe, and the rookie Isaac!!!! They were sensational, and helped us with our Espanol daily. Sorry if we forgot anyone- - - -we will never forget how well we were treated, and most highly recommend the Ambiance. Very well located in walking distance to some wonderful restaurants. We truly miss our morning buffet. Great quality- - -thank you ever so much for the family atmosphere. Internet access was also great. Wireless in the lobby looking out on the pool and beach. Muchas gracias- - -hasta la vista in 2009!!!!

Great family place

We have stayed at Ambiance (now Kin-Ha) several times and have always enjoyed it. There are plenty of restaurants to walk to. Having a kitchen cuts down on the expense. Javier who sets up tours and helps with just about everything is a gem. The beach is the greatest.

No ambiance at Ambiance

Two words "DONT GO" this old relic is ready for the wrecking ball. They forgot to tell us our oceanview room was on the third floor with no elevator. This place defines the word CHEAP, EVERYTHING costs extra like $1 local phone calls, a small pencil instead of a pen in the room they wont leave a note pad to write on and did not replace the bathroom items, coffeemaker but no coffee the beds are hard and crunchy. EVERYONE here is looking for a handout or just blantly wants to rip you off.

The best beach anywhere. Clean and quiet. Food not so great but wonderful restaurants within walking distance including the Fiesta Americana right on the beach. Stayed here several times with no problem of theft.

Very very nice

We spent 5 days at Ambiance, our only complaint being the steady wind and rain, for which we certainly don't hold Ambiance responsible. Overall we were very pleased, having lodging which would cost 3 times as much anywhere else we have been in the Caribbean. The staff was helpful and cordial, and the grounds and facilities were no less than immaculate, being groomed and tended to constantly, even in the rain. The beach and ocean views were as good as it gets. Since other travelers' reviews have complained of missing cash or property, we safeguarded all of that carefully, not using the room safe, and had no problems. Would happily stay there again.

Excellent Beach & beautiful Lg Rooms

We stayed at Ambiance from 2/14 to 2/21 and the beach was the best I have ever stayed at in Cancun. There were plenty of lounge chairs and Palapas (shade things) for both the beach and the pool area. The rooms were large and spacious and the beds were nice. Much of Cancun was operational when we were there - alot of the "Party" hangouts were just opening after the devistating hurricane Wilma. The people were as warm and friendly as ever and the weather was Perfect. I would definately stay at this hotel again - it is quiet, has great view, excellent beach, and nice staff. We did have a safe in our room in the closet - which was nice. Thanks!!

Best place I ever stayed

I had my best vacation in cancun at the KinHa, I liked the quiet and very friendly staff, most helpful and had a relaxing vacation. After 911 unfortunatly we were sent to a different hotel costa real and it was the worst time I had, No one told us we would not be at the KinHa and 2 weeks of terrilbe food from the other was glad to get home and now see that the KIN HA is up and running again.

What a mistake!

A group of us stayed at this hotel in mid January 2004. What a mistake! they stole money out of the safe, they stole a checkbook out of a safe, they stole a debit card used it and put it back - also out of the safe. And then they also stole new clothing that was in a bag in a suitcase. I would never stay here again!
