First of all the hotel is physically fairly new and the bathroom was very elegant. The air conditioning was excellent. The towels newer and clean. The hotel physically is attractive.
The problem with the hotel was the food, service and attitude and lack of training of the employees. I arrived with my mother and my husband . My mother has cancer and always dreamed of visiting Yucatan, Campeche and Quintana Roo and the famous Mayan ruins in that region of the world. I am an extensive Mexico traveller. I have travelled to Durango, Chihuahua, Veracruz, Tamaulipas, Baja California Norte, Baja California Sur, Yucatan, Campeche, Quintana Roo, off islands like Holbox, Mexico City, Guerrero, Monterrey, and many other states in Mexico except for Oaxaca and Tabasco and Nayarit and a couple of others.
