We stayed at Villa La Paloma 2 yrs ago and found it to be a great resort and very clean. Water from tap was ok to drink.

Top Local Tips for Cabo San Lucas

DO NOT DRINK THE WATER!! Other than a resteraunt...do not drink the water..even in a hotel. I usually buy a gallon or two of water and use it to brush my teeth or to fill up water bottles to bring to the beach. It's obviously fine to shower/wash in but drinking it could possibly ruin your vacation with something that feels like a bad hangover. It's not fun and a waste of time when you want to be out at the beach. So buy water!

Cabo Wabo in Cabo San Lucas Cabo Wabo is the hot spot if you like to dance and listen to live music. Cabo Wabo Tequilia Blue is very smooth and goes down easy. I highly recommend Cabo Wabo for the nightlife. As for eating lunch at the bar....don't do it. Service was TERRIBLE. We did have a drink at El Squid Roe, but left right after we finished our drink. The only ones in the bar were the employees, but I guess that's because everyone else was at Cabo Wabo.
