Our visit to Los Patios Hotel was quite enjoyable. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. The restaurant is good. Employees were gracious and helpful. The hotel is outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Cabo San Lucas. Transportation was necessary for us.

Top Local Tips for Cabo San Lucas

Little known tip! Ride the bus system!! It is incredibly cheap and so easy to do! There are city buses in both Cabo San Lucas and San Jose that you can literally flag down from anywhere they run. Next, there are both blue and green buses that run between the two cities. Find a bus stop, park your butt, and wait. Usually they arrive within 15-20 minutes of each other. They get crowded, but you cannot beat them for cheap and easy transportation. We never use the cabs. They are way overpriced. One thing, make sure you have pesos. We saw some US currency used, but most used pesos.

CHECK DISTANCE TO BEACH Do not book a hotel in CABO unless you know the distance to the beach, docks or downtown. This hotle was several miles from anything.

Restaurants in Cabo San Lucas Acouple of dining choices we enjoyed were Marisco Tres Islas and Pepe's. La Fonda was very good as well.
