Steer Clear of Tmeshare Sharks at Airport We were told to just walk right through the airport to avoid the timeshare sharks, however when someone came up to us and we showed them our paperwork for our shuttle(Transcabo) to the resort, they said "oh yes, right this way". We believed them and went to a counter, which was where the sharks were waiting ........BEWARE ! JUST WALK RIGHT THROUGH THE AIRPORT TO YOUR TRANSPORTATION ! Your might feel a little rude, but keep on walking!
National Car Rental I had booked our car through National. When we arrived, we decided to upgrade to a more inclusive insurance package. We had heard enough horror stories so decided to go for "full coverage". This opened up all of the bargaining that I had done online. They added more than the quoted price online. But the worst part was when I turned the car in, they added another 10 percent to the price, after verbally telling me the price that we had agreed on. I didn't notice until I got home that it was an inflated price. Moral: Look at the receipt when you turn the car in, and don't listen to the sales people. It is an easy time to get distracted because you are at the airport, etc.
Costco Make a trip to Costco or another store and stock up on drinks, water and snacks.
