I stayed with Jeremy for a month. The service was
excellent, and the people staying there were open
and friendly. Made friends that I still have.
I went home, sold my home and retired back to
Ajijic the following July, 2004.

A great little hide-away in the center of town, right across from the plaza. Jeremy and Patricia go out of their way to make sure all is well. Plus, they are just awesome people. The spa is great and very nicely priced. The restaurant in the back is well known among the locals. I loved our suite, as it had two rooms with a door to separate them. My husband could be in the bedroom watching TV while I had friend's in the living room area. The great thing about Ajijic Plaza Suites is that while it's not perfect, it always feels like home.

We stayed one nite (we were on a fact finding mission to see if we wanted to move to the area), the location is excellent, good food, the service and attitudes leave a lot to be desired. we would never stay there again and steer people to other places in the area.

Very good place to stay for the budget minded tourist. Jeremy was very helpful,courteous, and friendly. went out his way to be sure our stay was enjoyable.Excellent location in the village, for everything the village has to offer, we would stay there again.

Top Local Tips for Ajijic

Transportation Getting around in Ajijic I find is easily done by walking with good shoes .Taxi service is easy to acquire and very affordable.Rental cars are available, but I find slightly higher in cost then what I am use to.Buses are definitly the way to go around the lakeside while here. Very cheap prices.

Confort shoes For ladies who does not sacrifice good looking, please forget high heels.

Getting Around Taking the bus from Ajijic to Lake Chapala or other surrounding towns is very easy and affordable .Coming every few minutes in either direction of Ajijic, buses are frequent and never too crowded.
