Outstanding location directly in middle of the strip...fine accommodations, Food Drink...Beach access. All great...needs softer beds that's nit picking

Top Local Tips for Acapulco

forget the taxis if you are traveling from one end of the strip to the other end, take the buses markrd "costera" on the side...it cost the least and there is a bus every 5 minutes....it is not fancy but you can travel from the zocolo downtown all the way to walmart on the other end...taxis cost about 4 to 7 dollars for the same trip...the buses are about 50 cents...

Bus service getting from the Hotel to the Zocalo for 20 pesos is a bargain..use the blue bus marked Zocalo, Hyatt with the windows closed its totally Air Conditioned & comportable...don't waste 10.00 oncab fare for nothing...

Ask before you get in Make sure you ask how much a cab is before you get in and make sure they have change. It was amazing to ask one cab or another to go to the same exact destination price always fluctuated at least $3, most will barter down. Volkswagen bug cabs are cheaper btu not as comfortable. Make sure you tip your cabbie as with elsewhere.
