My stay at Montreal Espace Comfort was one of the best. First of all, the rooms are impeccably clean and well furnished. The staff is very professional and welcoming. Breakfasts are friendly and good!

The Espace Confort is a cute little place in a nice location in the Latin Quarter and within walking distance of St-Catherine St. and the Old Port for the ambitious. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. The private bathroom had a shower. Everything was very new and thank goodness there was an air-conditioner! The rate was very reasonable for Montreal and the staff were very friendly. The weekend we were there, we didn't see any other guests in the hotel. The only complaint we had was that it was sometimes difficult to get into the building after hours, luckily there was always someone about. I would defintely recommend the Montreal Espace Confort to anyone who is tired of big hotel chains.

Advise for Asians (specially Indians) Food may be cheap by Western standards, but is rather expensive by Indian standards. Food served by Indian restaurants leaves much to be desired, and if you have an extended stay, you will end up craving for some decent Indian food. It would be advisable for you to bring some packets of pre-cooked Indian dishes, just to get that back-in-home feeling for a change and have a break from pastas and pizzas!
