I booked online directly at the Maison Brunet and when I arrived late in the evening, I found very kind staff and a nice, clean and calm room to sleep in. I enjoyed the continental breakfast with warm croissants and fruits every morning.
The location is really great. All important sights, the old town and the harbour are in walking distance.

I had to go on a buisness trip to montreal and i didn't know where to stay, one of my friends recomended this hotel and when i first saw it i was a little sceptical but in the end i loved my stay and it was very close to my meeting in the convention center. The only thing I didn't like was that it wasn't the five star hotel that I am used to.

My friend and I made reservations online at Maison Brunet. When we arrived, we found the staff extremely helpful and the room clean and spacious. The breakfast the next morning was great -- we could snatch up a croissant and head back into our room to finish preparing for our day. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

Room awful, depressing, dirty place, soft bed, promised a private bath and was not given one.
