Charming lovely hotel

We had a marvelous time at this extremely well-located hotel on the heart of Latin quarter Montreal . From the station it was a very easy walk to the hotel. The staff was super accommodating and extremely tolerant of English-fluently speaking Americans. We were always greeted by an enthusiastic front desk. The Decor style is charming. Rooms were very comfortable .The location is superb. You can walk to the old port ( 10 minutes ) .The hotel area is so active and full of amenities ( restaurants , bars and shops )

it's not my first time at visitel, but this time was better by far than any other time with all the renovation they've done and still doing.
Like always quite, clean, and cozy.

Tiny room, bad service, dirty, unaccommodating staff, laughable continental breakfast, blatant fire hazards in room, inadequate bedding, dangerous, unlit stairwell(top floor), frigid bathing water.
