Credit Card Scam - Beware!!!!!!!

When I went to Montreal May 2007 I used my credit card ONLY to book a room at this hotel. A few weeks later I was called by my credit card company informing me that someone, in Montreal, had maxed out my credit card. Since I did not use my credit card anywhere else during my stay at Montreal, I can only suspect that someone working at the Hotel de Manoir St. Denis used my account number. Furthermore, watch what happens to your credit card when you submitted it on arrival. I didn't realize it then but they made a copy of my card. If you are making reservations at this hotel beware of the possible fraud and tampering with your credit card.

This place was awesome cause it was on St Denis street in downtown montreal. A very busy street with lots to do and it was a 10 minute walk to Old Montreal. Excellent friendly staff and nice rooms. Only about $70 for a room with two double beds, private bath, fridge, tv at the time me and my Mum went in May. Good price for all the necessities in an excellent location.
