A WELL KEPT SECRET !

I found this hotel to be well located..across the street from METRO, short walking distance to food mart, resturants and neighbour stores, banks etc. Rooms are clean, Each has a fridg, private bath . Staff are super helpful. My week there was plesant, not loud, noisy , but well cared for !

Hey: Great place near all. The club downstairs is closeby. The staff was excellent and always was willing to help. Would recommend to all. Very rasinable always clean and a nice room. Thanks.

Terrific staff, affordable hotel

Even though this hotel is located above a gay strip club, it's very quiet and the staff members are extraordinary friendly. The Dorian hotel is conveniently located near Sainte Catherine Street with old Montréal and Chinatown within walking distance. For those wanting to take the subway, the Papineau metro station is only about 50 metres away from the hotel. There are also plenty of restaurants and gay clubs and one grocery store nearby. The only drawback of this rustic hotel is trekking up the stairs. It’s quite a steep staircase. Other than that, it's a perfect, quiet place to stay with plenty of things nearby.

I have stayed here when I travel to Canada for many years knowing it was above a strip bar, and I always come back because the staff are accomodating and friendly, it is located next to a supermarket, subway hub, some good restraunts and it is within walking distance to all the Village has to offer..

A real messy place

This is not the kind of Montreal hotel you bring the 'fam' to! I had reserved for one week and on the first night I simply left. The bar downstairs is smokey and loud and all that smoke makes it upstairs and the building shakes. The TV stations are all french except for 2 stations and nobody speaks english. A must avoid. Try Gouverneur, I did !

Great value, friendly staff

I stayed at this hotel, knowing it was above a gay male strip club. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean and I found it to be extremely reasonable in price. I will be staying here again.
