I Risked My Life Even Stepping Foot In This Hotel

First they lost our reservation, which we had confirmed several times before we went, it was very dirty and scary. I felt like I was being thrown into a dark alley in a big city. They offered us the "hour" room which had a prostitute walking out of it. And then offered to have us stay in an apartment with the manager because of their mistake... I was out of there with my friends so fast. Not only this but a month later.. They keep charging my credit card because they have my number.. I am closing my account just to stop the fraud. I called to get this resolved and they kept hanging up on me or picking up and hanging up. Please don't risk anything by staying here !!!!

This is the most repulsive (hotel?) that I have ever encountered. Upon entering, the chemical smell was so overwhelming that you could hardly breathe. The room looked like crack addicts just left 2 minutes before we got there. It was FILTHY! The carpets were bathed in putrid stains, there were blood drops on it, and it had obviously not been vacuumed in a LONG time as there was a multitude of tidbits, coloured balls (of unknown origin..) all over the place. It stank so bad you had to hold your nose. There were bugs (YES!) and hairs in the bathtub. We did not stay, (I wouldn't make a dog stay there) and the hotel refused to credit us back for our deposit. They kept $120.00 of our money. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Cigarettes and Sanitary Napkins in a Cleaned Bed

I and several friends stayed in a room with three double beds and did not expect much. We did however expect it to be clean. It was not. When we arrived there were cigarette butts everywhere in the room, we found a sanitary napkin under the sheets of one of the beds, there were stains that I didn't want to think about and there was a hole which had been punched in the wall. We reported all of this immediately and were told that we would be compensated. We stayed the two nights as planned with problems such as if anyone else in the hotel used the water whoever was in the shower would be frozen or burned. There was breakfast as promised which consisted of juice boxes and croissants which were like hockey pucks but that was acceptable. The final straw came on the last day before check-out when the door knob broke and we were locked in our room. It was not the manager who got us out but one of the other guests in the room who left by the fire escape and got a knife to jimmy open the door. As we checked out we asked what the compensation would be for the problems and we were not expecting much, possibly something for a future stay etc. we were than told that there would be no compensation. We were told that the person whom we had informed on the first night had not put a note on our bill and that all of the damage must have come from us including the door and that we were no longer welcome. This was when we were told that the front entrance was for guests only and that we must now leave the premises. This hotel is in a good area however the service is horrible and the people who work there speak very poor english. They are rude and the parking which they offer would be very easy to steal from. It is well priced but dirty. There is no cafe for breakfast simply some tables in the from hallway and than they bring out some croissants. The pictures misrepresent the hotel and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are better hotels just as well priced in just as good an area.

A good budget option

We visited this hotel whilst travelling on a fairly tight budget and it was nice to be able to get a large double room for such an affordable price. On the down side there was a power cut one of the nights we were there which meant the already meagre continental breakfast was now just a bread roll as the fridge had warmed up! It was also slightly scary finding our way down the stairs from the top floor in the pitch black but I think we were just unlucky to have a power cut! Also, just up the road from the hotel after dark there appeared to be several ladies of the night plying for business- so probably not the best family choice! It is however walking distance from plenty of decent cheapish bars and restaurants so good for budget concious travellers.
