If waking up with oozing red welts on your face and neck is your idea of a great time, then by all means, book here. I would think twice otherwise. I was there for the august long weekend and it was one of the few places that were still available....surprisingly, since the location is pretty ideal. Of course, now I know why. In any case, I woke to find an enormous bed bug on my pillow, then when I threw off the covers, they were everywhere....a colony behind the head board. When I called for the manager to come up, nobody came. When I went downstairs to tell them of their bed bug problem, they played dumb. Finally I demanded to get the owner on the telephone who acted like a total ass. Needless to say, I had to find another hotel. I wouldn't be surprised if they rented out the room after I left. Do not book here, I implore you! I will take pictures of the nasty bites on my face and neck if I have to....they are disgusting.
