I took a bus to Montreal from Boston, and the hotel is very close to the bus depot and downtown.I had a double room to myself. It was small and had no fills but clean and comfortable with a private bath. The staff was very friendly. The location was within walking distance to everything and very close so several subway stops. There were a few minor drawbacks:
1.)My room was facing the street, so it can get loud at night.
2.) After 8 Pm, they lock the door to the lobby so you have to be buzzed in.
3.) No parking for those who have cars
4.) The walls are thin, so you can hear your neighbors

Overall, It was a great, cheap place for the price. I would recommend it for singles or young couples. I would stay there again.

Top Local Tips for Montreal

Botanical Gardens Don't go here anytime BEFORE the month of May. Alot of flowers or roses are not in bloom yet, so there's not much to look at.

Ice Hockey We saw an Ice Hockey game whilst we were there but as we just wandered in i wonder if you could get it cheaper if you booked online first. Well worth a visit if you havent seen a game before, we loved it.
