Excellent room, friendly and attentive service. A terrific value. Only two minutes from the drop-off point for the bus from the Montreal Airport; no need for a taxi from the airport to the hotel.

I have stayed in this hotel twice during the past 12 months. It is located in an old building in a run-down part of town. The rooms are quite small, but I found them to be functional. The bathroom was cramped, but clean. The furniture and matresses are aging, but for the weekly rate I paid, they seemed fairly good value.

I liked the central location; close to rue Ste Catherine, downtown shopping, and all sorts of nightlife! Also, excellent access to metro and airport bus, a small super market on the corner, and lots of restaurants close by.

I had a good rapport with all of the staff, and had no problems with speaking either English or French with them. The security seemed quite good.

This block is a haven for drug dealing, prostitution, and homeless people. Fortunately, law enforcement is constantly patrolling, and the street people keep mainly to themselves. I didn't feel in any great danger, but I did realize that I should stay alert at all times.

For people who like to spend a lot of time hanging out in their room or on the hotel terrace, this is not the place. If you want a clean place to sleep at an affordable price, it gets my approval.

Absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed in my more than 10 years of travel. Do not stay here at any costs.
DO NOT get mislead by the photos. The place is a dump - the bed is to be avoided at all costs - but unfortunatley you cannot sleep on the floor as there is NO SPACE even to walk.
