Top Local Tips for Mont Tremblant

Get your food shopping done before you arrive! There is a "General Store" in Mont Tremblant resort, but its about the size of a caravan and the stock is very variable. On our first visit there was nothing there you could make a decent meal from, let alone shop for a week's stay in a self-catering room. On a later visit there was a bit more choice (several pre-prepared meals) but very expensive. Fortunately we had a hire car and drove to Tremblant town (about 6 miles) where there are several decent supermarkets (we used the "Metro"). We spoke to several others who had similar problems, and the resort restaurants were expensive and nothing to write home about.

Tremblant We ate dinner at L'Artiste and La Forge. They were both very good. Lunch at Montebello Hotel was a great treat and a good beginning of a trip.

La Ripaille St Jovite This is a lovely well priced restaurant, friendly owner and great food
