Lots of Luxuries for the Price
from StevenInSacA friend told me about Mont Tremblant, and I decided to try the hotel for my vacation to Canada. I thought I might try a couple of hotels while in the area, but I just couldn't seem to motivate myself to leave Chateau Beauvallon.
I really like the family-run atmosphere. I met two of the owners while I was there, and sat down and chatted about the history of the place, their vision for the resort... everything down to the name of the bar! (TJ McMasters is named after one of the owner's late father)
Chateua Beauvallon's rooms have luxuries associated with rooms twice the price - beautiful woodworking, a fireplace, two bathrooms... a bed that is really difficult to get out of, but you are glad you did because of all the things to do in Mt. Tremblant. We went fly fishing, rock climbing, bicycling, hiking, boating... too much to do!
Another reviewer called Tremblant village "Disneyland" and I find that accurate. A nice place to visit during the day, but I wouldn't want to stay there.
If you are looking for a luxury hotel with a bed and breakfast feel, this is the place.
The new # 1 ref. of Mont Tremblant
from louis.carolineand we decided to stop at The Beauvallon for a lunch. Wow, this place was totally the type of hotel we dreamed of. After the tasty and delicious meal, with 5 star service, my two dauthers asked if could stay for a couple of nights. My wife and I with out hesitation answered yes. So we stayed 2 days and did somes activities at the montain, on the Rivière Rouge for a Peniche ride. For conclusion we appreciated the quiet and warm location, the V.I.P. shuttle service that bring you at any place any time, the hot tub, the swimming pool, cinema for kids, living room computer accces, bar service, wonderful well designed suites and the smile on every member of the staff. Château Beauvallon is the perfect place to go with the family or for your meeting business.

Above average small condo hotel. NOT a small luxury hotel of the world
from Cruzer101Based on the reviews and headlines on this forum, and their great website, we decided this was the one. Location was good for us, not being directly in the pedestrian village... which was great. This was our first time in Mont-Tremblant, and the village was a bit too disney-esque for us. But nice none the less.
The room were not as big as made out to be in the photos (We had a 2 br). While there are certainly 'luxury' amenities, there were also things that made you scratch your head... Cheap shower heads (low pressure), plastic deck chairs (think 5$ home depot one!), and an overall design remeniscent of "assisted leaving facilities" that we all see newly contructed in neighborhoods across the US.
Also be aware, the 2nd bedroom has no window, which was disappointing. I guess if you just have small children-- it would be fine, but with 4 adult, we all wanted not to sleep in a closet.
I must add that the entire property was spotless and well maintained.
On Saturday night, 3 of us decided to book massages for Sunday night at 630. Unfortunately, one of us woke up with strep throat, and needed to cancel. The spa claims a 48 hours cancellation policy, which we only realized once we saw the vouchers the same day. The hotel nor the spa mentions this policy, and it is not in any literature, other than the receipt.
They insisted we go-- I found this outrageous... and this inflexibility is not what vacations are supposed to be. Not to mention down right dangerous to the spa to be exposed to Strep virus.
Not getting things our way set aside. But their approach to the problem was arrogant and rude. No compromise was offered, not even allowing just the ONE person with strep to cancel. They insisted all 3 must go or else be charged 100%!
Overall, the place is OK-- certainly NOT an authentic luxury lodge. Your typical condo hotel with some upgraded amenities, and some quircks.
Beautiful design, Awesome service, friendliest staff ever
from wkhouryLovely, peaceful and pampering
from farelThe room has a nice kitchen and is perfect for a family vacation. My quibble is that there was no mirror that a short sighted person could use for makeup.
Would definitely go back!
Nice place - friendly service !!!
from Momandson_7Minor issues were there though: Not much of an Indoor pool (small...), or a Gym. The hallways outside the rooms were very hot - no air conditioning !!! I also agree with the previous reviewer regarding the tiny kitchen. More like a kitchenette....
Staff was great - never had to wait for shuttle to the resort - and it took 5 minutes !
Overall beautiful place - very peaceful and beautiful. Kids loved it also!
Nice place, but needs to change service levels and a better design
from Jakep480But .. the kitchen is TINY, half size fridge, no oven, and no dishes to talk about to cook dinner.
The people are lovely, seem to care, but are terribly untrained. Takes forever to get a coffee, breakfast, the bill .. anything.
The gym, is not a gym ... three cardio machines and a weight rack with no bench in 150 square feet in a hallway leading to the pool.
The pool and hottub are great, the resturant is actually very nice and again .. the people are great. The place needs to invest some money in training, fix the gym, and let people know that the kitchen is not really a kitchen and you might be on to something. In the meant time, there are too many places in Tremblant to spend time here.
Paradise surrounded by mountains and lakes
from B945The ambience was fabulous...friendly, attentive, cheerful and helpful staff, rooms with all amenities and lovely warm decors, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in and high quality linens. The sound of water bubbling from a waterfall running into the pool outside the room when the door to the patio was left open was incrdibly relaxing. We even ate in our romm in the mornings since all amenities of a little kitchenette were provided.
The public areas were equally inviting, with a computer for checking emails or surfing the web, fireplace in the lounge and an lovely intimate dining room called the Bon Vivant where it was both casual and elegant at the same time. Food was goumet or a hamburger and everything in between. Service was characteristically friendly.
We had never been to Mont Tremblant in summer and thought of it as a Winter ski destination but were absolutely charmed by its beauty in June. Chateau Beauvallon gave us a most enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing experience.
t be beat!
from A TripAdvisor MemberA great stay at the Chateau
from davidlyonsI love Tremblant and the Chateau Beauvallon is in a perfect location to enjoy golf and the other activities available at the resort.
Top Local Tips for Mont Tremblant
Some Great Restaurants in Mont Tremblant Go "outside" of the village to eat! Fine Dining Musts: Le Cheval De Jade and Patrick Bernard. Family Dining musts: Le Petit Cache ,Cajun Grille. In the Village: Crepe Cathereine and Smoked Meat Shack. Avoid Plus Minus.....It sounded interesting, but it was way too pretentious (in terms of food, not service).
Save money on dining If you want to save a bit of money ,dine at restaurants outside of the village. Some of which are half the price.
The blue's festival It was amazing to have access to exceptional blues talent via performances scheduled throughout the day in the walking village. Great musicians and wonderful sounds echoed on the many stages and in the bars for days. Try to schedule your summer holiday to take advantage of these free concerts --- they were supurb.
