We had invited two friends to be our guests at Chateau Logue in June. It was beautiful. You asked me for a rating and for the hotel I would rate the Management 5-8 and the staff 10+ The staff could not have been more accommodating and the customer service was also a 10+. We had a wonderful time until the last day and our friends invited us as their guests to dine with them in the Chateau Logue for a great finish to a wonderful week. We had a reservation for four. We were not important, They had other tables that had 12 people at them and the other tables had ?? we were told they had reservations as well and it was told to us that they were serving a larger group.. mmm shouldn't someone have seen the amount of guests dining that evening and staff the dining room to accommodate all of their guests. It doesn't matter if your a table of four or a table of 18. We are customers. How many of those customers were patrons of the hotel?? mm We had a reservation for 6:30 had some drinks and chatted and chatted and chatted. 8;30 we were mature about our end and paid the bar charge and left.I would like to add that we did have an appetizer which I did not pay for due to the fact it was half burned. Thank you to the receptionist for her kind apologies and taking a negative situation that could have really escalated and made it a positive on. The lovely woman calmed the men down and gave us food for thought elsewhere. Your receptionist may not be young but she is wise beyond her years. She also gave us a chance for a half hour swim after we returned. that's what gives Chateau Logue a high rating. It's not my story to tell but there are other unsatisfied customers that have eaten at your establishment since my unhappy venture, I would stay in your gracious hotel anytime but i will never return to the dining for a long long time. Sad thing is I have told so many many people of your decadent Creme brule. I wish you much success in your future. Maybe we will meet one day. Sincerely Lori Ann McGrath Cecire
