We stayed in a 2 bedroom motel apartment....was very nice, extremely clean and came with everything you could want. Nice kitchen, living area, 2 bedrooms, nice bathroom, all dishes, pots and pans, dish washer, microwave etc. The floors in the main area were hardwood and very nice. It has a nice pool and was never all that busy even though the place was full! I would recommend it to anyone and would go back in a minute!

Top Local Tips for Cavendish

Cavendish Trolly If you do not wish to drive your vehicle around Cavendish; leave it at the hotel and hop on the trolly. It makes regular stops at all the various attractions and restaurants within Cavendish. There are bus stops near every hotel in the area (one being right in front of the Anne Shirly motel). Mind you the driving around the area is easy and the traffic for the most part light; however the trolly saves trying to find parking spots at the most popular attractions.

Take a tour and go to the LMM theatre at Avonlea I really recomend taking a tour. We took the 'islands finest' which was great. It covered all of the main anne things and showed you where the rest were if you wanted to go back. The driver was really nice and told us lots of stories about the history of PEI and life on the island. I also recomed going to see a show at the Lucy Maude Montgomery theatre at Avonlea. It's a refurbished church with a total audience space of around 150 seats. We saw The Importance of Being Ernest while we were there and it was fantastic. Definately worth the price and the walk down the hill.
