We came up to Wasaga for a funeral and this motel was recommended to us through family. Check in was fast, and we got an upgrade to a two bedroom cottage for the same excellent price. The cottage was warm, bright clean and very cozy. Staff were pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend this place to any budget conscious traveler for any time of year.

just finished our 7th annual week's stay at the mermaid, it was awesome. Ivona & Graham are the heart & soul of the place. every year, they add little touches that just make it better. See you next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clean and comfortable

I satyed in the motel room. It was clean comfortable large room,the grounds have a cottage feeling family friendy.the rates are affordble and staff are friendly. I have stayed in other wasaga motels this motel is in my opion the best value close to the beach.

Cottages, Motel Rooms, and Condos are large and well furnished. Only a few minutes walk to the beach, a short drive to the Superstore & Beerstore. Easily accessible by road. Overall, A great Resort.
