It's difficult to know where to begin with how bad this hotel was.

* our requests to the conceirge were not fulfilled, despite communicating with them twice weeks before our arrival.

* there are no glasses for the mini-bar, we were told to use the water glasses from the toilet!

* noise from parties 4 floors below was clearly audible in our suite well past midnight on most nights of our stay.

* room service screwed up twice, once delivering cold food, no teapot & no condiments. The other time I cancelled a continental breakfast after waiting 40 minutes.

* the doormen are too busy chatting to do their job & then call out to you as you're walking down the street, "have a nice day!". I'm suer they were being sarcastic.

* we were moved out of the bar for a function at 6.30pm.

* the restaurant wasn't open on any night of our stay due to functions.

* we were not shown how to use the electronic equipment in the room.

* toiletries were replaced once during a 5 day stay.

* no in room movies.

* no robe hooks in the bathroom - what are you supposed to do? Drop your robe on the floor?

* we knew when our neighbours went to the toilet, when they took a shower & we shared their cigar smoke with them!

* the tiny lobby was packed & noisy every night with people attending functions.

At $800 to $1,000 a night this hotel is a huge rip off! Guests clearly are incidental to their business & it shows. They should give up being a hotel & turn themselves solely into a place for functions. We will never stay here again.
