Here is my exact conversation with the reception desk at Roycroft Motel: S: "Hello, is there a room available on August 30th?" R: "What?" S: "Sorry, is there a room available on August 30th?..." R: "What?" S: ".... IS THERE a ROOM AVAILABLE on AUGUST 30TH... THREE-ZERO...?" R: "No." S: "Okay?..." R: "..." S: "Why not? Is it booked?" R: "No." S: "Then why can't I book a room?" R: "No no no." S: "Excuse me?" R: "No, you have to come here." S: "Alright... What are the rates?" R: "$60.00" S: "Okay, do you have two room suites?" R: "No." S: "Okay" R: "Bye." *Reception Hangs up* 'nuff said.
