I enjoyed my stay at the hotel very much. The location is perfect for shopping, taking the subway, or dining out. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. And all this at a very affordable price! I plan to return to Toronto soon and will be staying at the Quality Hotel on Bloor again during my visit. Highly recommended.

The Quality Hotel Bloor Street is well located at the junction of two subway lines and is a short walk from the University of Toronto and Bloor Street shopping. The hotel is clean and well-kept.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The one big problem was that it was cold in the room at night-- to the point where we slept under our coats. (We already had turned up the heating.)

We have stayed at your hotel twice now. It is well located and reliable whenever we are in Toronto.

Double room was a little cramped, no built-in closet added to the feeling, but it was clean, and in a great location with easy access to the subway.

Adequate

This hotel is fine for an overnight stay. The standard rooms are a little small for spending much time in, but as I say, for overnights it is just fine. The ice machines tend to be out of order; during one stay I think I tried four machines to find a working one.

Top Local Tips for Toronto

Amazing, Accessible, And Close Shopping! The Bloor-Yorkville shopping district is great for all shoppers, with stores ranging from GAP and H&M to Puma and Louis Vutton. Be sure to check it out! Also, Yonge Street from Bloor all the way down to the Eaton Centre has some really interesting stores. Check the out, too. It's really easy to walk down Bloor Street West to Yonge, and then down Yonge to Eaton from the Holiday Inn Midtown for a great day of shopping!

Good place to stay in fancy part of Toronto Stayed here during my neice's wedding....great location close to really fancy shops.....enjoyed my shopping even if I couldn't afford it!!! Sunday morning took a really nice walk through the University of Toronto. Had a really great time.

Great eats For great food check out Torito, Duff's Famous Wings, Spring Rolls, Siagon Sister, Hello Toast (brunch) and Sugar (brunch). For a cool bar, go to the Cloak and Dagger on College St. Or the Communist's Daughter on Dundas West and Ossington - the coolest neighbourhood bar ever. It's tiny!
