More of a dive than expected

My husband and son were really not impressed at all with the hotel. The Beaches area is so trendy and pleasant - they were surprised at the senses of "old" throughout would not care to book into that particular hotel again.

Top Local Tips for Toronto
The Trams We did a LOT of walking to see the city, but the trams are a great way to get around too! Also, there are 3 ferries that you can catch from the harbour to get to The Island. I can't remember which is which, but I think Hansons Point(?) was the best location on The Island (centre island was a bit 'full on' and tacky, but great for families with young-ish kids)

(local transit) in Toronto, ON Canada If you're visiting Toronto and would like to take full advantage of the bus, light rail and subway routes you can pick up a day pass from any subway station and this pass will allow you unlimited travel on any Toronto route line.
