Not a bad place

I went to Kingston road to find a place for the weekend. I was advised that you could find the cheapest motel's in Toronto in that area. My boyfriend and I saw this motel and were advised of the rate so we went down the street to some green light special for $50.00 a night... scary scene. The guy wouldn't even let us see the room so we went back to Andrews and it was an easy stay and for it's price it did the trick. If I wanted to stay at the Royal York I would have forked out the money for it... somehow. But it was just a weekend and I wasn't staying in the motel for the weekend I was seeing the city. nice affordable stay.

Pathetic Staff

I approached the reception area and asked if there were available rooms for one night. I mentioned that I was asking on behalf of my travel partner who was making his way into the reception area.
The attendant was immediately on the defensive and asked me why I was booking a room for someone else. I sense that he was suspicious of my travel partner and myself. I mentioned that I was the pastor of my travel partner.
I asked the attendant why he was behaving that way in a rather condescending manner. He asked me to take my business elsewhere and to "get the **** out of here".
On leaving I mentioned to him that only people with limited vocabulary use such language.
