The service is outstanding and the prices are very reasonable. For those Americans who are scared off by a rising Canandian dollar, do not put off a trip here, as there are so many attractions: Lake Huron, with its turquoise and dark blue waters, which are reminiscent of Caribbean vistas(although the water temperature is somewhat colder), Fathom Five Marine Park, Singing Sands Beach, Cypress Lake, all are worth the visit, and the Coach House Inn Resort is friendly, clean, and inexpensive.
This Inn is not a part of a chain owned by a faceless corporation, it's owner and manager Ruth is a cheerful real human being, who takes a personal interest in helping her guests have a pleasant stay. A great feature of the inn is a modest continental style free breakfast, although for groups that come in advance, such as diving clubs, there is a kitchen, and Ruth will oblige with a full breakfast or other meals for a very reasonable cost, if arrangements are made in advance.
