A friend suggested I stay here when I go to Tobermory. My wife is a clean freak, she was very happy with our room. Happy wife, happy life. I am glad I was told of this gem. The breakfast was simple, but hardy. I hope to take another road trip here this year. Ruth made me feel at home and was very helpful in suggesting the Fathom five park and the glass bottom boat as places to see. I would recommend this Inn to anyone.

We stayed at the Coach House Inn this past August and enjoyed our visit to Tobermory. The motel is clean and the service was excellent. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend The Coach House Inn to our friends.

We went to Tobemorry for a family holiday and we were thrilled with our experience at the Coach House Inn. The staff bent over backwards to meet my every need.(young kids) The room was spotless and newly furnished. Our overall experience was better than the 5 star hotel we stayed at in Toronto(the Sutton Place) at well less than half the price. The Coach House is a screaming deal and exceeded our expectations. Because of the good revies I wanted to stay at Coach House Inn Resort. I send them some emails to get an offer, but they all returned as spam. So I send them a fax that they give me a roomrate and availability, but nothing came back to me. I send them a second fax and told them please to answer also if nothing is available that I can look for other rooms, but nothing came back. The other Hotels/Motels answered very soon.
Not a good servise I think! I am very sad about it.

The service is outstanding and the prices are very reasonable. For those Americans who are scared off by a rising Canandian dollar, do not put off a trip here, as there are so many attractions: Lake Huron, with its turquoise and dark blue waters, which are reminiscent of Caribbean vistas(although the water temperature is somewhat colder), Fathom Five Marine Park, Singing Sands Beach, Cypress Lake, all are worth the visit, and the Coach House Inn Resort is friendly, clean, and inexpensive.
This Inn is not a part of a chain owned by a faceless corporation, it's owner and manager Ruth is a cheerful real human being, who takes a personal interest in helping her guests have a pleasant stay. A great feature of the inn is a modest continental style free breakfast, although for groups that come in advance, such as diving clubs, there is a kitchen, and Ruth will oblige with a full breakfast or other meals for a very reasonable cost, if arrangements are made in advance. The rooms are spotless and quiet, with air conditioning and many come with refrigerators. There is a pool, and a seven acre property with picnic tables, and guests are free to barbecue. Ruth is very knowledgeable about local points of interests, will help you book a boat trip to spots such as Flower Pot Island,or if you prefer, a glass bottom boat tour of the crystal clear waters of Fathom Five Marine Park, where shipwrecked sailing vessels can still be seen. Ruth will let you know about local restaurants. There is a country club right across the street, which serves great meals. It took us about 10 hours to drive here from Chicago, and the price of gasoline was far less than plane fare for three people.

Incredibly clean in and out. Ruth, our hostess went above and beyond. the pool was a treat in itself. Definately plan on going back.

Great time, one of the best kept secrets in Ontario We had a fantastic time canoeing, and hiking. I hear there are some caves to explore, something we will definately do in our next trip. It is great to have a comfortable clean room to come back to after an exhausting day in the outdoors with a hot bath/shower.
