I work nights and needed a place to stay during the day while work was being done at my home. I woke the owner up at 7:00am and was able to get a clean quiet room for the day until I woke up and checked out around 5:00pm. Most the other hotels wouldn't rent me a room until their noon or later check in time. The lady in charge at the Beacon Hill was more than willing to rent me a room at such an early time, and the price was right. I found the room clean and bright with new fittings in the bathroom. Hot and cold water worked fine and there was a small fridge and microwave as well. I would recommend this small but friendly hotel to anyone at anytime. Compared to other comparably priced motels in the Ottawa area that I looked at while comparing, the Beacon Hill Motel was head and shoulders above them all. Well Done and thank you.

Worst place I've ever been

If your a drug dealer or prostitute it is a perfect Place. Lets see I found a syringe,tv didn't work, smelt like old armpits and pipe smoke, one knob from the bathroom faucet was gone,toilet was dirty, carpets were stained badly, mold in the bathroom. I didn't sleep under the sheets I bought a sleeping bag and used my jacket as a pillow because I was afraid of what was under the sheets. I had to run the hot water for ten minutes before going in the shower to clean it out. Never took my shoes off.

The staff at The Beacon Hill Motel, are second to none. I required extra blankets, and towels, and they were happy to oblige. The front desk clerk, made me feel at home. Best stay ever, Great job, I will definitely be back again, and again.

This is a very clean motel that is simple and comfortable. The price is perfect and the front desk is very nice. I checked out about 45 minutes after the check out time and they were very nice and understanding. Great management!

One of the best, very affordable and quiet little motels I have seen in the Ottawa region. Basic services ,clean rooms, very friendly, personel.
