A Terrible Place

1. Made reservation for room with kitchenette, several weeks ahead. On the day, they had no note of my reservation, and they don't have kitchenettes, but found me a room with a fridge, which was all I needed. 2. They gave a key for my room to a late arrival so I was startled at 1 am by a stranger entering my room. (He was startled too!) 3. The person answering the phone doesn't speak English and couldn't take a message. 4. The electricity was turned off just before 9 am, so the fridge was off during the day. 5. The fan/A.C. worked the first day, but none of the subsequent days. 6. There were bugs in the room. If I'd had time, I'd certainly have stayed elsewhere.

Tawdry dark rooms with 1960s decor. Terrible location at a busy junction of 2 highways. Cancelled room and didn't stay but had my credit card charged nonetheless.
