My comment is regarding the Anchorage Inn, after spending one evening in this "motel" I would not recommend this place to anyone, after paying $117 we received a room with a broken bathroom door, very rude staff, empty soap and shampoo containers and a manager with a horrible attitude. They should be ashamed to call this place a casual relaxing atmosphere, with reasonable prices.

We booked this, and paid for it, with Hotwire. In the past we have never had any concerns with their ratings. It is so bad that we left and drove the 3 hours back home. My wife wouldn't stay and we really aren't that picky. The very stained carpet in the lobby was mirrored in the small dingy room. It's a fantastic location but a dark depressing room with a small bed and the "I have been around since 1950" look. It had what we call a twin bed which looked low-quality (small and low on wheels, tattered wicker furniture, a small old tv mounted on the wall and painted fiber board for interior construction. There was a lovely air-conditioner hanging out the back etx.
Bottom line - wouldn't and couldn't stay. Took our losses and left. I suggest you stay elsewhere unless you are looking for very basic accommodations.
