I visited the Embassy Suites Fallsview for business meetings on May 2-5 and couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable stay, despite having to work during my stay. The suite i stayed in was so spacious and came with a breathtaking view of Niagara Falls. The view itself is worth visiting this hotel. I read a few reviews where people experience elevator problems, and complained about the staff - but i never encountered any of these issues and noticed that they were almost finished building another elevator. So it definitely looks as if the elevator issue is resolved. I will definitely return to this hotel next time i'm in Niagara Falls.

Great Stay!!!

Just returned home from a long weekend at the Embassy Suites Niagara Falls. I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews...but I'm happy to say that we experienced NONE of the problems others have listed. Our Jr. Presidential Suite was on the 37th floor. We NEVER waited more than 2-3 minutes for an elevator. Room was absolutely outstanding! The view was just as I had imagined!!!! We had a jacuzzi and a fireplace - perfect after a long day of sightseeing.

The staff was very pleasant - especially the young men in the elevators, and the front desk staff.

Breakfast was adequate - the lines were not bad at all, and the staff was extremely pleasant. Dinner at the Keg was delicious!!!

The afternoon Manager's Reception was also very nice - veggie trays and snack mix, along with free soft drinks and tickets (at check in) for 2 complimentary alcoholic beverages.

We were there over a Friday, Saturday, Sunday - so I'm not sure how others are running into such problems at this great hotel!

Although this hotel gives the appearance of being a beautiful new hotel, looks can be deceiving. We just returned from a stay at this hotel in November and it was nothing short of a horrible experience. We arrived at the hotel to find that they had given away our fallsview jacuzzi room (or more likely overbooked it in hopes that someone was going to cancel, and no one did) and were NOT pleased with the room we got even at the discounted rate (which was not all that discounted after all) OR with the way we were treated by the staff. Their 'wonderful' managers reception is a joke, the food in the restaurant TGIF's was good but overpriced. The only thing we DID enjoy was the view... next time we'll see the beautiful view from one of the other hotels in the area. Dont let them ruin your holiday like they did ours.

We upgraded to a Jacuzzi suite with a falls view and we were not disappointed. The room and view were perfect and worth the extra money. Most of the staff was very good and made an extra effort to make us feel special. We would stay here again. We were two adults and two children. One thing that could be better, the pool, they should have modeled their pool using the Hilton across the street. The managers reception was not that good. We were there for 4 nights in August.

My wife and I spent one night in Fallsview King Jacuzzi suite in December. The room was spacious and well equipped, view was great and jacuzzi was big enough for two adults. Complimentary breakfast was nothing fancy, but it was very good. Hotel personnel was very kind and friendly. Things that we didn't like: - We were constantly reminded that "gratuities are greatly appreciated" (cards in the room, on the back of the key-folder...). Why was this necessary? Guests know about the tip concept. We didn't feel any pressure from the hotel employees, but these reminders spoiled our good impressions of this hotel. - Extras (drinks in the fridge, peanuts, cashews, etc) were much too expensive. I mean, we didn't expect "Wal-mart" prices, but $11 (Canadian) for 200g of peanuts or $13 for large bottle of water, that's too much. We paid $160 for the room, $20 for valet parking, plus 15% tax. We also had very nice dinner at "Outback", 100m from the hotel ($60). (all amounts are in Canadian dollars) It was a very pleasant stay for us and we are planning to visit this hotel again.

Extras need work

Our room was very clean and extremely large with a beautiful view of the falls. It was the offered extras that made me conclude that this hotel only deserves a three star rating.The Manager's Reception was not the best, cold nachos and veggies). The "free" breakfast at TGI Friday's was absolutely terrible. The breakfast offered had bacon that was of the "microwave kind", all the fruit tasted like grapefruit, and the omelette maker was extremely rude. We had to clean our table because the staff was too busy chatting with each other (we waited 10 minutes). The prices for room service are astronomical and after the terrible breakfast served, I would think the rest of the items on the menu would be about the same...yuck. The parking was a slight shock ($20.00 CAD, $13.00 U.S. per day), as well as the expensive shuttle to the Niagara casino ($18.00 CAD/p.p). I think the hotel is absolutely beautiful but definitely needs work with the "extras".

The hotel was quite beautiful, but whoever parked my car was smoking in it and burned a hole on the driver's side. and my car was very dirty when I picked it up. Didcall them about the problem and they said they would get back with me. Will see about it and I will keep contacting them till the problem is resolved.

I found this hotel online, and was unable to find any decent pictures so I was a little worried. When we arrived it was obviously the best hotel in that area! Beautiful rooms, wish I could live there. Visit this hotel, you wont be disappointed.

My fiancé and I have been to Niagara Falls a few times, and stayed at a few hotels. We tried out this new hotel because we heard that it had the best rooms with the best views and we were not disappointed! The rooms are all 2-room Suites with windows that look directly into the Falls. You dont even have to leave the hotel. We saw an amazing fireworks display over the Falls with a bottle of wine in our Suite! The hotel is brand new and located in a great location with great restaurants to choose from. A shuttle took us to the Casino and to the Outlet Mall, and the concierge desk was more than helpful with dining and attraction suggestions. Breakfast was included in the price of the room, which was another great feature. We would defiantly recommend this hotel!

Great View / Bad Service

We stayed at the Embassy Suites the weekend of November 21st. The hotel is gorgeous, and the view is absolutely amazing. The service is another story. We had to wait 55 minutes to get our car from the valet lot, because they "forgot" that we were coming. Apparently, the person who answered our call didn't relay the information to one of the valet drivers. Also, our room was never cleaned. We got back to the room at 5:00 pm, and housekeeping hadn't cleaned our room. We called the front desk to inquire about it, but again, the message was never relayed to housekeeping. The gentleman who delivered our room service was finally able to contact housekeeping. Even then, they did not clean our room.
We were just handed extra towels and shampoo. If you want a great view and nothing else, stay here. If you want good service, stay somewhere else.

We had a Fallsview Jacuzzi Suite and the room was very nice and large.
The view was amazing (except for the ropes hanging down cause they were cleaning the windows). The breakfast was very good, especially the made-to-order omelettes. Everyone we met was very nice except for the one guy that worked the tour desk (he acted kind of uppity). The food was also very good at TGIFriday's, except the prices were ridiculous.
We ate one night across the street at the Outback and the prices there were consistent with eating at one in the US (not increased like Friday's were). The shuttle to the casino and falls was a plus so we didn't have to worry about driving there. I would say, overall, the hotel was very nice and I would stay there again.

I decided that for our anniversary ,October 28th, I would reserve a room at one of the Fallsview hotels to see what all the buzz was about.
Let me tell you that after living in the Falls for most of our lives, we had thought there was nothing that we hadn't seen or done. Were we wrong!

I had reserved the Junior Presidential Suite and it was on the 22 floor of the hotel. We had gotten the room at a very reasonable price for a Friday night and there was breakfast included too.

The view from the wraparound windows was the most magnificent thing I have ever seen. The lights that are on the Falls made them look almost surreal. Seeing them from that perspective in the most beautiful room I have ever stayed in, reminded me of how lucky I am to live here.

Even from the separate sitting area you had a view that was amazing.
The suite was clean and elegant. There is even a microwave, coffee maker and fridge in the suite!

The breakfast was all you could eat and my husband had the biggest omlette I've ever seen! All in all I can say that the experience was something I won't soon forget. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was polite and courtious.

Top Local Tips for Niagara Falls

multi-activity package We stopped at the ontario travel center before entering niagara falls. We purchased an package that included the butterfly conservatory, the bird kingom, thew walk behind the falls and the skywheel. It worked out to less than half the overall price.

Sights during the winter Go off season to avoid the stressfulness of busy roads and the high cost. We went during the winter and although it was cold at the falls, it was still beautiful and it was not crowded. We very much enjoyed the festival of lights driving tour (free), the falls at night (free) and the fireworks on Friday night (free). Do your research and there are lots of deals to be found. We also spent time at both casinos and really enjoyed the smoke free environment.

Nice Bar The Spicy Olive is on Clifton Hill, and Saturday nights they have live bands. Its a very nice place that gets pretty crowded later on. I would recommend this bar for any age person that wants to have a good time on a Saturday!
