What a wonderful Experience!

My partner and I planned a wedding at Niagara Falls in August of 2004. We picked the Eastwood Lodge as our place to stay while visiting the falls. From the moment we arrived until checking out the Hostess, Joanne made our stay perfect! We went back in August of 2005 for our anniversary and once again Joanne was the best. If you want true hospitatlity visit the Eastwood Lodge, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Joanne for making our memories so precious!

Top Local Tips for Niagara Falls

Niagara helicopters I highly reccomend going on a helicopter over the falls, it is an amazing veiw and you get to see everything from a whole new perspective.

Niagara on the Lake This is a little town north of the Falls and was a highlight of the trip. The most beautiful main street I have ever seen bar none! This is a must do just to see the flowers in the summer. Also has tons of stores lining both sides of the street. There is alot of stuff to do at the Falls but you gotta take a day and go for a ride north. You won't be sorry!

For a First Time Visitor to the Falls We purchased the Canadian Adventure Pass and went on the Maid of the Mist, the Journey Behind the Falls, the White Water Walk, the Butterfly conservatory and even dowloaded the free MP3 commentary for use as a tour guide. I was happy with all of the attactions. We went on a good week in May between Victoria day and Memorial Day. It was not crowded (but 20 degrees chillier than normal!). We saw the Falls from both sides (NY and Canada), and I wouldn't miss either, they both have their own special merits. Each step you take gives you a different more spectacular view. We went on a wine tour with Crush on Niagara; we were the only two on the trip that day and they pick you up and drive you around. It was pretty much tasting and not really winery tours, but we had a very nice time and were driven home safely! I thought the butterfly conservatory had a gorgeous collection of exotic butterflies and the botanical gardens were beautiful to walk around in.
