This is the perfect hotel to stay in for a romantic break. The rooms are beautiful, the views are unbeatable, the staff are helpful & friendly.
There is a piano in the upper lounge which plays haunting classical music. Its like stepping back in time! Brings tears to the eyes!!
There is a Starbucks in the foyer, and the adjoining casino serves the most amazing buffet ever eaten!! 10 out of 10 any day.

The hotel was quaint and situated well in the city. The room was small but more than enough for the amount of time you would normally stay in a room when there are other things to see and do.

Excellent Anniversary Get-Away for the Whole Family

from SheilaCToronto
We had a fabulous family vacation at the Crowne Plaza in Niagara in May. It was our 15th wedding anniversary and the front desk staff were terrific. They upgraded us to a two bedroom because we had our eight year old with us and it was a mid-week.

The bell room staff also went the extra mile. Adam and a Scottish gentleman could not have been friendlier. We also did the waterpark and experienced the Rainbow Dining Room that boasts an awesome view.

We intend to return annually to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was excellent value and a memorable getaway.

great view / tiny rooms

from Marypak
(I thought we were calling the hotels directly at niagara falls but I might be wrong. We were trying to book the sheraton! But they said most hotels were full.) The view here was really great, 12th floor. The restaurant had a great view also and was not crowded. Really nice people there. The people who worked here are all very helpful and friendly, they will bring extra towels, etc. They have parking onsite although it was $10 per day but you could come and go. Breakfast food was good. The rooms were clean and the beds were soft.
Big problem though is how teeny tiny the rooms are, maybe it's an old hotel look though. They swore that my family of 5 would fit into two adjoining rooms...but there was only one double bed in each room. They brought a cot but we had to move furniture to fit it in, you couldn't even move in there. I have some teens so it's more like 4 adults and one kid, we really didn't fit. The front desk people said they would move us the next night but the next day they said it was all full. So....we squished. Really great view though!
The waterpark is attached as well as a casino, hard rock cafe, tons of other things, so it's really convenient to everything.

Clean and great location but could be a lot better

from mjf365
Well, I will start off with what was good about this hotel. There was a friendly staff and the lobby and common areas were beautifully decorated and well taken care of. This hotel has an excellent location as it is right on Falls Avenue a block from the extremely tacky Clifton Hill and you are able to walk across the bridge to America and Niagara State Park if you would like.

As for the negatives of this hotel, I got a great deal on the room ($100 through priceline) so I didn't expect much and I wasn't disappointed. We had a very small room (20 ft x 10 ft) that had an incredible view of the parking garage. Also, parking is not included which isn't unusual for the area but it is something to keep in mind when you are booking. Wireless internet is also not included which you would think you would get for the price you pay but I guess that isn't the case. However, you can use their business center if you need to get online. The surrounding restaurants serve normal food (nothing to write home about) that is outrageously price (Hard Rock, Planet Hollywood, Applebee's). For example, looking at menus, we saw that a bacon cheeseburger and fries at the local Applebee's was 14.99. I would definitely recommend you get off the main strips and take a trip up Lundy's Lane to get some decently priced food. All in all it was a decent, clean place to stay but you usually expect more for the price and name of the Crowne Plaza.

Former Brock Plaza has the most incredible views from rooms!

from travelfamilyCa
Our 11th floor Supreme Fallsview room had the most incredible views of both falls. It was even possible to see both falls while lying in the beds, although one bed's view was better than the other's. The room was odd shaped and had a big patio (two separate sleeping areas with a door between - which was nice to have with the kids along). The noisy Clifton Hill area is right there which is an upside or a downside (there was some noise at night with Hard Rock Cafe music drifting up while we took in the lit up falls at night from the patio). There were some stains on the carpet and the elevators are slow. However the staff was very helpful and friendly. We paid $190 for our spectacular room (of course add tax and $10 parking and 12 internet connection). It was worth every penny and we hardly wanted to leave our room since the view was so incredible. The hotel was the historic Brock Plaza when I booked it and I fortunately found out that the name had changed so we didn't get lost in town. We will definitely be back!

Enjoyed the Crowne Plaza!

from SandiToes
We booked our hotel in Niagara Falls via Priceline - so we did not know which hotel we would be staying at until we "submitted" our price. We very much enjoyed our visit to the Crowne Plaza - and felt like we got a good deal. This hotel is in an older, historic building - which is quite beautiful. Typical of a historic building it has its quirks (rooms/bathroom are somewhat small or shaped a little odd) - but I have found this to be the case in any historic hotel I've stayed in. The location is very convenient...right by the bridge to the U.S. and an easy walk to the falls. The hotel is also connected to a waterpark, a casino, the hard rock cafe, and the rainforest cafe. We don't have children....but this would be a good location for families given the proximity to entertainment. That said, it was still very quiet. Parking is an additional $10 per night for guests...which seemed quite reasonable. Overall, I would stay here again...especially given the value.

Great Place

from milehighatlanta
We stayed in one of the corner rooms that overlook both the American Falls and Canadian Falls. The corner rooms that end in 07, such as 507, 607, etc. are really GREAT rooms. They are really spacious, have whirlpool tubs and have GREAT views of the falls. I have NO complaints and will stay here again if I get the chance. We did notice some of the other rooms were smaller but that is typical of some of the older hotels.

WOW... what can we say? This Hotel is AWESOME. The lobby is beautiful, the rooms are CLEAN, and Spacious. The View from our window of the Falls was Breathtaking. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is in the center of all the activities. Maid of the Mist is across the street. The Skywheel is one block behind the hotel. The Food around the property is Wonderful as is the food on property. We wiil stay here again. There is nothing bad to say about this Hotel.

In the middle of the renovation !!

from thea1209
The actual hotel looks different than the pictures on their website.
This hotel is kind of old and run down.
The lady from the visitor center told me that they just convert this hotel from Brock Plaza to Crowne Plaza. It looks like they're in the middle of renovation but they didn't mention it on their website.
Our bedroom looks furniture, wallpaper...but the TV is old. The bathroom hasn't been updated and is very small....the toilet is small too! Their towels are looks like rags. Good thing ...I always bring extra towels,,,,we only stay there for one night. When we woke up the next crew were pulling the carpet from the hallways and about to install new carpet. The new carpet looks nice, though!
The only good thing that I can remember from this hotel is.....very nice view from the hotel room....facing the Niagara Falls.....especially at was so beautiful !!!!! The location of the hotel is very convenient.
Maybe...the hotel will look nicer after the renovation.....

Big Disappointment

from ScotlandHattie
On arrival at hotel the first impression was that it looked very old fashioned inside. The reception desk was upstairs. It was difficult to get a lift as they seemed to be constantly full with long queues waiting. When we reached the desk, there was another queue waiting with only two receptionists.
At last we were checked in and had to stand in yet another queue for another lift.
The room (I use that term loosely) was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. There was no floor space to open both cases at once. We had to take turns at standing to the side of the small bed in order to pass each other.
The view(another loose term) from the window was straight into a multi-storey carpark.
We would have complained but as we were staying for only one night we decided we would just spend as little time in it as possible.
The only good thing about this hotel was the wonderful view from
the restaurant on the tenth floor. Probably one of the best views of the falls available.

Got hitched in Niagara Falls, Ontario in November 2006

from dmontreal
My wife and I stayed at the Brock Plaza Hotel in November 2006.
We booked a superior double on-line for something around CAD 100-105. When we turned up at the hotel the two rooms we were offered were very average. Having worked a while ago in a hotel in London UK, I knew that a receptionist that understands a situation can help a great deal. We went back to the reception explained that we were expecting something else, came here from as far as Montreal and that we were there to get married and spend a short honeymoon in the honeymoon capital of the world; I offered to pay for an upgarde and for an extra 40CAD per night we got a room ( 509 if I remember well ) on the top floor with a clear view of both the American and the Horseshoe falls. The room was kind of small but the view was great. The bathroom nice, quite large, very clean. They provided plenty of towels. We stayed for a few days. Brock Plaza, we gathered, can offer, if you pay the price, one of the very best views of the Falls, having been there long before most other hotels in Niagara Falls. The lobby had the Christmas decorations, thousands of lights, a beautiful grand piano, good atmosphere. I don't know what such a room may cost in the peak season, yet I can confirm the location is great, the service good and I would certainly recommend it to people from Europe and Canadians and Americans who don't mind a smaller room. Some may say Brok Plaza is slightly dated; however we are originally from Europe and enjoyed a great deal the airs of the hotel. And yes, 5 months on today our knot's still tight, but that won't help your stay there.
