I read all the reviews before deciding to stay there and was a little reluctant regarding the 2'' review, but I tried it anyway because the rest of the reviews were good. When I arrived at the front desk, I was greeted with a friendly smile and pleasant customer service. They answered all my questions and let me see the room first before I decided to stay. Hardwood floors Love them!!! I hate carpet. Bathroom spotless, Beds comfortable, Overall cleanliness Very clean!! I would definitely stay again because of the PRICE and FRIENDLY service, I will recommend Maxine Inn to my friends.

Staff - Maxine - was very down to earth and pleasent. We were offered to visit the room before renting so no suprises. Just back form vacation in the US where Motel rooms were more costly and no pride or effort was visible. This is THE place to stay for the right price if you are looking for a place to sleep that is clean and safe.

I stayed for 3 days at Maxine's Inn on Lakeshore rd in Mississauga. I was looking for an afordable motel that would fit into my travel budget as I was going to tour Toronto and the surrounding areas. What I found at Maxine's Inn was more than I expected. My experience started with a very courteous front desk that not only greeted me warmly but gave me all the information I required on room rates and extended stay rates (which by the way were really affordable...my room with a fridge and cable tv and internet came out to 66 dollars total with taxes and all and a weekly rate was qouted to me for 275 and thats with tax). My room was SPOTLESS. I have stayed at 5 star hotels and I have not seen a sparking toilet until I stayed at Maxine's. The beds were comfortable and I loved the spot where Maxine's is located....its right next to Lake Ontario and from my room I could see the Lake and a wonderfull Park was just down the road where I could enjoy my picnic lunches right next to the Lake. My trip was a peacefull and relaxing one thanks to this wonderfull little jewel of a motel hidden by the Lake. I strongly suggest this Motel for all travelers coming into the GTA area. Its affordable, clean, quiet and just an overall amazing place.

Great customer service and the price couldn't be beat.
The room had a nice built in desk with a fridge and hardwood floors. Oh and it was always super clean.

I travel a lot personally and for work and I have stayed at several motels in my life and this is among the best I have seen.
It is extremely clean and the room we had had wood floors.
I am one of those people that won't sleep somewhere if it isn't clean and if I don't feel safe. Location is off a main road, and room was everything you need for one night or a couple of nights. Service told me they have several long term stays so I am sure they are not over priced. I would recommend this place to my friends.
You would need to get there by car. Doesn't look like there is much options for public transit however.

I too have stayed for a long period of time, infact longer than just a month, try 8. I did not get the same experience at all. From my experiences in traveling, from hotels and motels, I would have to say I can't complain. It was very clean (not many motels are), the staff was very friendly and always on top of things. When a light was busted, they changed it right away. When I needed extra towels, they never kept me waiting long. They have an accessible laundry mat on the premisis which was so convenient for me, cable tv, access for wireless internet. For what it's worth, it worked out fantastic for me. On the statement of not having a microwave or fridge, I'm sure she knew that before she checked in, so why did she want to stay??? I was informed this at the beginning. I'm sorry but where in Canada can you stay and get those luxuries for that price now a days. They never said that I couldn't bring one if I needed on either. As for the calls, I never had a problem receiving them. Even when I had multiple calls at a time. She didn't make a valid point because how can she say they were jobs and housing when they were actually her "friends." I'm sorry but I've stayed there quite longer than this lady and I had no problems. Maybe she hasn't been traveling enough to differentiate what's a good motel or a bad one. This Motel worked out just fine for me!

I had a very pleasant stay at the Maxine Inn. I found the staff very polite and concerned with making my stay there a good one. It was VERY affordable and would gladly stay again.

I stayed for an extended period of time and was treated like a high school student. Considering the amount of money it cost me to stay for the month (1160.35) you would expect courtesy, none of which I received. Not only that, I had no fridge nor a microwave. When I began receiving necessary phone calls (for jobs and housing) they informed me that they "were not an answering service" and could I "please tell my friends to stop calling so often." The whole experience left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone unless you enjoy being treated like a two year old.
